Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. The lonely person may find it difficult or even impossible to have any...

cant believe i turned into a gray haired old geezer with cats for friends and family----though should have been able to see the writing on the wall even back in high school, with hassles there, and lowlife drunken parents.
yesterday, bike ride in falling snow on highway; cliche too of gray haired old guy biking in snow off the highway. I bought a dollar can of chile for myself and 3 for dollar catfood for homeless cats, and 6 dollars for 12 packets better food for my own cats.
snow coming down, people in most of grocery store lines with full shopping carts, me with about 8 dollars of stuff, mostly catfood; kinda feeling lonely doing that.
on way home, biking up the same hill i walked a bike up when i was a little kid, when my evil mom sent her lousy sister/my aunt to pick me up, no doubt for whatever isolating reason.
My hillbilly, scumbag, parents had tons of money to give to fellow lowlifes, or to booze or gamble away, to selfishly get over their loneliness----while keeping me isolated, and poor.
Yesterday morning, a homeless cat really pigged out on food i kept putting out for him---he probably knew a storm was coming. then, at dark, the usual other 2 cats outside the building door, with both of them starting to walk into the building! At least i can feed them.
And in another half hour, walk to vet day before thanksgiving, to see if my own cat's meds available; I'm glad a week after him to vet that he's ok; have lots of photos of him and other cats----i threw away all photos of my lowlife parents.

So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. I know that sounds so dramatic but it is how I felt. It...

I love cats! Your story reminds me of Peter Ustinov as "old man" in the movie Logan's Run, occupying the overgrown with vegetation Lincoln Memorial with a bunch of cats. He was supposedly the last of his kind, a holdout who lived outside a domed city, where inside the dome, people lived in utopian bliss with everything provided for them until they reached the ripe old age of 30, when they were exterminated, I mean, allowed to achieve "renewal" on Carousel.
Great Orwellian sci-fi movie from the '70s that isn't too different from The Hunger Games.
"And the cat's third name is the name only the cat himself knows, and never will confess, will ya, Henry." (giggles as he pets cat's head)
Sweet man, in a fascinating sci-fi movie that, before Star Wars, in 1976, was the shiz-nit, the cat's meow of sci-fi movies!
i have "logans run" on dvd, along with "zardoz." i remember logans run being promoted on merv griffin talk show, with the costumes from the movie being shown, and farrah fawcet being interviewed.
i also have "take care of my cat" korean movie, with cat bringing bad luck as its passed around among a group of friends.
time to feed outside bunch.
have a nice thanksgiving.
it wasnt till last couple years i realized they probably downright hated me for being bullied in school!
and they definately lied to people when i was in a really bad reclusive depression, in their house, with them telling people i lived in another state!
thanks for the reply; have a nice thanksgiving.
Take care of yourself and try to take whatever small joys you can out of life.
I hope you have a nice Thanksgiving.
And, yes, Zardoz! With (best Scottish accent) Sean Connery. Those apocalyptic, bizarre 70s. Glad George Lucas pulled us out of that funk with Star Wars-A New Hope! As exotic as that movie was, it was also a wholesome fun time.
Anyway, enjoy those cats and turkey day!
as somebody who has maybe ten minutes of real life conversations---total, per week---and, and then only with cashiers at stores, i'm trying to get through my robinson caruso holidays by exorcising all my bad memories.
when i was part of avoidant personality group on yahoo, i thoght i was the worst of bunch, but somebody replied how they have even less contact with the human race.
i've accepted that i am one of those people who have no life off the internet: no visitors, no relatives, no friends, no car, no cellphone, only disability money---but i'm somehow still sane enough.
as a believer in "toxic parents" book, i think its part of my therapy to finally bad mouth my parents, especially since i only started figuring out stuff in last few years.
when the holidays are over, from my evil mom dying in hospital a week before thanksgiving in 2001, through my worthless dad committing suicide new years eve 1982, i'll be able to post less.

a depressing 1969 tv movie about a ghetto kid and a homeless cat he adopted. I saw that when I was a kid.
615 in morning, with more snow---just fed the cat that came out the otherwise empty flop house adjacent to where i live.
hoping you two have a nice thanksgiving.
in my different way, i'm not dead, yet, either, for good or bad.
i have you have a nice thanksgiving.
billwfriend,
hope you have a nice thanksgiving.
sorry for forgetting to say that in my post.
