Loneliness Support Group
Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. The lonely person may find it difficult or even impossible to have any...

I had just hung up from my friend Alma and my car phone rang. Mr K showed on my dashboard!!! This couldn't be true. I've only seen him once since Jan 31st. His responses to my texts were almost zero. I was obsessing that he flaked out on Valentine's Day for the second time, after the 2025 let down. I answered in shock and asked him a couple times if he was ok (he could only be calling me if there was a true emergency......actually he has tons of family.....so not sure why the calling after being MIA for almost two months). I kept the convo light and generic. After over an HOUR I told him I had been gone most of the day and needed to start thinking about the work week. He told me to have a good week ahead, and I responded "nice talking to you"
what was that???? Always when I'm feeling better and on the mend.....

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

Does anyone follow her? She's really got some good tips.
They act like nothing bad even happened.
They don't take responsibility.
I hope you stay strong and avoid his calls. You are doing great! You got this!
I cant stand breadcrumbers. They give you just enough to keep you engaged but never fully commit. Honestly, at the end of the conversation, I wouldve said "Its so nice to be friends" and left it at that. You have to decide if you want to keep giving energy to this-or just come right out and ask him what his intentions are. I know Im terrible at following my own advice. LOL
They do intermittent reinforcement. Most times they are ugly or ignore us. Then they do one thing once in a while that is nice. So our brains get a hit of dopamine, women go into the "what if he is always this nice" crap. That is why not talking or being with these people makes our brains crazy. We want that hit of dopamine.
Also breadcrumbers as TTS wrote.
The best thing is to know their pattern of behavior. He was hoping to hook you back in. He doesn't really care about you though.
And think of this. Instead of beating yourself up for falling for him -- please instead of doing that negative tell yourself something positive. Hey I noticed his pattern of narcissistic behavior and I did not get reeled back in. Yea me!
I know this is someone that you've really cared about and it hurts
I don't know if this is completely over for you or not??
But if it's not I would make him do the chasing
Don't be too available
If he asks you out already have plans some of the time and for sure the first time
I wouldn't call him at all
Sending you a big hug of peace and support... xo
