Welcome! Lots of great advice and support here. I am glad that you are feeling less lonely. Stick around! There are ways to help loneliness but you have to put yourself out there. Maybe look for a group through meetup.com. Last January, I lost my last kitty, my Joey. I never cried over a kitty so much. I was so lonely. I missed him terribly. In July, I put a post on Facebook with a pic of my Siamese cat who passed away in 2014 and said I was ready to let another kitty in my life. A classmate/friend of mine sent me a pic of a kitten who was part Siamese. I really wasn't looking for a kitten but the chance to have another beautiful cat made me say yes. This kitty is so cool. He's very funny. He has made a big difference for me. Do you have any pets?
