Hi everyone, my name is Sun and I had two mc back to back, both around 8wks, both blight ovum (no hb). I'm dx under unexplained so this IF is driving me crazy! I will be starting IVF #2 and I'm so scare that this is going to happen again. Doctors don't havie any clear answers why this is occuring...maybe got to do with the egg due to my age (will be 39 in Sept) I'm guessing. I NEED SOME ANSWERS!!!

Hello - I am so glad that I found this group. I have been writing a lot on the miscarriage group, but have not found many women with recurrent m/c . I have a healthy smart lovely 3 yr old who was conceived on the first shot! IN the last year and a half, I have had 4 m/c all of whcih I let resolve naturally. My first m/c came about early wk 5 after I got a wretched stomach flu with high fever. The 2nd I lost at 8wks (blighted oveum) but carried and delivered at 10 wks (that one was a mini-labour - really tough!). The 3rd was a chemical pregnancy. The 4th happened in May. Baby had a heart beat at 6wks but not a 7wks. That m/c was incomplete and has just fully resolved. I am starting again but am terrified of another loss....

Hi- My name is Danielle. I had my first miscarriage in August 2009 after three years of fertility treatments becuase my husband and I are unable to get pregnant on out own. We got pregnant for the first time, and I was 10 weeks when our babies heart stopped beating. We tried again three months later and got pregnant right away with the help of Clomid and IUI. We lost this one at 6 weeks. This was just last weekend. I am devestated and so angry. i have never felt anger like this before. I am hoping to find others who feel this way, and who have found helpful ways to handle it. Also, to find people who have gone on to have successful pregnancies, or how to find the strength to try again.

Hello, My name is Nikki. I've had 2 miscarriages in 2009. The first in June and the other in August. I was very much taken by surprise with these as I do already have 3 healthy children. I have found out just this week that I am severely Vitamin D deficient. I am trying to find out if there is a link to this and losing our babies.

I'm just itching to try again but so afraid to set us up for heartbreak again.

hi my name is kristy. i have had two miscarages at 6-8 weeks, but the 2nd one i thought i had got to 13 weeks, but it had actualy died at 8 weeks, my body just kept thinking it was pregnant. after the first d n c i ended up in hospital three weeks afterwards hemeraging and almost died. then in 2003 we lost our precious son to stillbirth at 39 weeks. i was actuly in hospital booked in for an elective ceasrian, (as i had complications with our first son, dylan who is now 8 yrs, i was in labpour for 31 hours and ended up having an emergencey cesarian. ) when the nurse did a heartbeat check, they couldent find one. he had died but id felt him kick and move around the night before so he had only just died. it was horrific, we had to bury my precious son, and even though it was a long time ago i still miss him every day although i have to say with time it has gotten alot easier to deal with, the jagged hole left in my soul has closed a little and isent as raw. but it will always be there.

I've been pregnante 10 times and lost them all. First pregnancy is a set of twins boy/girl. delievered at 26 weeks. boy was still born due to cord around neck and little baby girl lived for 2.5 weeks. I lost a daughter at 6 weeks with my husband and just recently a week ago we lost a son at 12 weeks. its hard and i wish someone would tell me why i'm losing my angels and with fertility treatments so expensive we are looking to have children through surrogacy.

I am Jessica. We lost our daughter, Ophelia, in November 2007 and our son, Jordan, in November 2008. Both to miscarriages. We have no live children. Memorials for both babies were lost in the flood here in Tennessee in May 2010.

My name is Autumn and my husband is name Eric. My Husband and I been together for 7 years and been married since April 6, 2010. We have been pregnant 4 times now and still have not had a child. The first and 4th time we got to 9wks before we lost it and the 2nd-3rd time only to 6wks. IVF and all the testing for it is just to expensive for us at this time. We are going to try one maybe two more times before I give up. I just can't do it anymore-it hurts to bad.

It was difficult to read through the recent posts. I'm so sorry for everyone's losses.

I'm Dee and I've had about 3 mc's and about 3 missed pregnancies. It's too many to keep track of. One with healthy heart-rate went to 16 weeks but had died at 12-13 weeks. I discovered it at the amnio. One pregnancy was identical twins and one made it 7 and one to 8 weeks with healthy heartbeats etc. .I just tried my first ivf cycle and made it all the way to transfer at Day 5 but didn't get pregnant. I had a ruptured ovarian follicle the day after transfer. The toughest part is the progesterone dropping rapidly after mc's and now after the ivf. I usually bounce back pretty well, so we'll see how I feel this time with the extra complication.

It's hard not to worry, but hopefully we will all look back on this difficult time as part of the process that got us to our beautiful babies.

Not sure if this group is still active, looks like most of th posts were a long time ago....but if anyone is still around...I am very sad to be looking for such a group. I just lost my 2nd baby in my 2nd trimester....NOW they realize that I must have an incompetent cervix...yeah thanks too late. I have 1 daughter who is 2 1/2 and we lost our son Miles at 19weeks in Jan 10, and our daughter Riley at 17weeks just 2 weeks ago. I didn't know life could REALLY be so cruel. I am here for support and advice on moving on and living with each day.

I'm so sorry for your losses. Thanks for reminding me to live with each day singly rather than running my mind off into hopelessness. I too have had several miscarriages but the cause is "unexplained".

There is a lot of hope for you. I'm so sorry that it took so long for doctors to figure out what the problem was but at least now you know and there are definitive remedies that can be done for "incomp cervix". Maybe when you are ready you'll be able to try yet again...

I'm looking for some more active discussion groups too. I will try to figure out how to "friend" you on the site and keep you posted.

Hi my name is Annie. I had two miscarriages in 5 months. I asked my doc to run some test after the second. She agree since nobody in my family has miscarried (if fact its full twins, my self being one of them). All test negative, blood was normal and my uterus is normal. So I don't know what to do. I can't get the courage to try again since the last two where so bad. Also my family does not want to lend support, I just make them uncomfortable, even though I never talk about it. Its in their eyes. What has everyone here done for support?
