I have been diagnosis with MTHFR and I have the double mutation. However, my problem is not to have caused my mcs. The best appointment I ever had was with a geneticist, who explained the problem. I am on three prescribed folic acid vitamins per day for the MTHFR.

Hello all! I'm Ashly. I am very fastly approaching 25 and have been married for 5 years. TTC since Feb. '06. I found out I was pregnant in Aug. '06 and m/c the very next day. After a year of trying w/out any luck I had made an appt. to see a specialist. That week I found out I was pregnant again. I m/c a week later. After the 2nd m/c tests were done and it was discovered I have a balanced translocation. I have 45 chromosomes compared to everyone else's 46. In July '08 we did IVF w/ PGD and got pregnant w/ a girl...at the 10 week u/s there was no heartbeat.

Hello all, my name is Gail. 36 trying for my first child. So sorry to hear of everyone elses losses. I'm currently waiting to miscarry with number 6 after infertility treatments, 3 HSG's, 2 Lap for endometriosis within 16 years. After my last HSG 24 Oct 08, we found out that we got pregnant on our anniversary. Most of my miscarriages happen within my 5th week however after test and finding out I had a progesterone deficiency that kept me from getting pregnant and carrying, I stayed pregnant for 8 weeks only to find out that everything stopped progressing at 5 weeks. Each miscarriage seems to drain more hope out of me and makes me feel as though I am a failure. This last one hurt the worse since we happened to conceive on our anniversary so it makes me feel as though everything else in life will fail too. I hope to meet some great ppl here and support since being removed from where I used to live and new to this area I don't have any family or friends around for comfort and not have to pretend that not being able to get pregnant doesn't make me sad.

Hi, my name is Robin. I suffered 3 mc in the 18 month period starting Sept 10, 2006 through January 24, 2008. All were natural, no D & Cs. We took 11 months off and are just now ttc again. I lost 40 pounds (almost) and got much healthier. I am in a much better place physically, mentally, emotionally than I was, so here I go again.
I am so sorry for e1s losses. My prayer is that no one stops ttc for the wrong reasons and all that are pressing on and still ttc will ALL get their BFP!!!!!!

Hello, I've been in this group for about a month now, but haven't introduced myself. My name is Nikki. I have had 2 pregnancies and 2 m/c's. My first was in June 08 when, at 5 weeks, I m/c before my first doctor's appt. My second was December 08 (the day is snowed in South Louisiana), should have been 8 weeks along, but the baby looked to have stopped growing at 6 weeks. No heartbeat at u/s, but we did not know the date of conception. Painful natural m/c. A lot of clotting, which nothing turned out to be the actual baby... so no answers.

Doc wants me to have me tested. I don't want to be poked and prodded. Also, the depression has left me a bit sour in my current job (teaching). Has been requested that I go to a counselor. Don't want to go to a counselor. Esp. one that has never experienced this particular brand of pain.

But, beyond that, I am sorry to hear of everyone's losses. I pray that we God provide us all with healing and comfort.

I'm Sandra 42 yrs old, just had my 2nd m/c in a row. First in 9/06 at 10wks (pg was a total surprise) had to have d&c. This one made it to 12 1/2 wks, several u/s with strong heartbeat so I actually started to get excited and "bond" so to speak with the baby, at my level 3 u/s appt they told us no heartbeat, another d&c this time so they can do testing and tell us what happened. We had been ttc for a yr after the first m/c-with no luck so we just let it go....wasn't meant to be for us....surprise! was pg again. I have been on the m/c support group but didn't know this was available as well. So sorry we all had to meet like this.

Hi, My name is Samantha..I have two beautiful kids ages 10 and 8 that I love to death. I have always wanted 5 kids and wow, I have been pregnant 5 times. But I only have 2 kids. I had my most recent miscarriages weeks apart. I am so sad. The first one didn't hit me too bad because I had the beta counts and they went up up up and then down down down and when I went for the sono, it was too late. But the one after OMG, I went for bet and the numbers were fantastic and I went for the sono and the tech said "I definately see the heartbeat" I didn't get excited until she said those words. Started thinking of names and everything. Then my baby was stolen from me while I was shopping in Walmart. I just started bleeding..out of nowhere..no pain..no cramps..no nothing. I lost my baby AGAIN. I was not such a bad kid or young adult so I can't imagin what Im being punished for, but whatever it is, Im sorry and I wave the white flag. Please don't hurt me like this anyore.

Hi, I'm Tiffany. I am 24 years old with two unexplained miscarriages. I have extremely long cycles and late ovulation, along with slightly low progesterone levels. I've lost two angels. One in Sept08 (a week before my husband and I's one year anniversary) at 10 weeks and one in Dec08 (on New Years Eve) at 5weeks. I'm TTC again but obviously scared!!

My name is Kala. I have had 2 miscarriage and 1 chemical pregnancy. I lost my first child at only 8 weeks and my second child at 6 months. I had both miscarriages in 2007 along with my chemical pregnancy which lasted 5wks. My daughter's name is Emma-Leigh Rayne. My husband and I call her our angel that sleeps with the butterflies. Its been alomost 2 years since we lost our angel. It still gets to me and I cry everyday I look at her ultrasound picture and watch the video everynight before we go to bed. My Name Is Lindsay and I have recently miscarried my 5th pregnancy ( and I had 1 Tubal) I am 35 yrs I had my tubes tied when I was very young(1994) and had them untied in 2007 since the reversal is when I have had all of these Misses- I am taking Lovenux shots in the belly ( once a day) and I have been doing that for the last 2 pregnancies.* and I only take the shots once I have a positive pregnancy test) I wonder if I am not getting enough? My doctor just sent me for all the blood tests ( that I took in 2008) and more so hopefully I will have an answer soon. best of luck to you all!

Hi. I'm Kerry.
I have just had my fifth miscarriage, and taken Misoprostol. Our baby died around 9 weeks, after perfect growth and heartbeat.
We have two healthy boys, one which had vasa previa, and was a preemie.
We feel blessed for our children, and are praying to God for another child.
We have had just about every test done by our reproductive endocrinologist, but everything appears 'normal.'
I am sorry for your losses, and hoping to get some support here as well.
