Ok, if you are here you are divorced and have been given a second chance (or third or forth LOL) at getting it right! If you could begin again, money and time no object (we are dreaming here!), What would you want to be when you grow up?? Me, a lawyer I think, I can argue with the best of them and love to win! welp, I would prefer to be everywhere I imagined myself being with EX before I found out he sucked eggs, so here goes... and YES i am dreaming...

Married to my current B/F, pregnant... (never got that far with ex, self-preservational I assure you) With a big house in between our two families, on 10 acres... Him driving his truck (Lord only knows what he wants this week) and me driving a Volvo.... With a plane that takes us to our Lake house in Northern Michigan at Torch Lake... And healthy.

If I had to start all over again I would love to be a vet because I love animals, but unfortunately I'm squeamish. Since that would not happen I would probably join the peace corp and travel the world.

I was a lawyer. Until 2 weeks ago, I was a stay-at-home mom. Now, I am about to be divorced or legally separated. I never wanted this. For now, I just want to get through each day for the sake of my kids. My dream is to be a writer. Maybe some day -- if I can join the living. For now, I am like the living dead -- blindsided by a divorce I never wanted.

I would like to be a councilor or therapist so I could comfort people and to make a difference in their lives.
And I want to have lots of $$ to live comfortably. SUE

If you don't think it, you can't get it. I think the key is to find who you want to be and then "just do it" like Nike says. Easier said than done, you say? One day at a time, one step at a time we can do anything we put our minds to. We lived through divorce! We are strong hear us roar!! LOL

Thanks Kathy, I do feel empowered by all that I have been through! I am still here! I figured out the only thing we really control is our attitude so you have to choose to be happy and believe you can do whatever you want to do. The future can be either scary or exciting, it is our choice!
