There is nothing wrong with online dating. The thing is, no matter what, be yourself and have fun. Meet in person in public the first few times for safety reasons, but other than that, using all the tools around you to meet people is not a bad thing.

Online connections are great for cerebral stimulation; but 'dating' is physical. Technology is a tool; but it doesn't change the fact that being in each others space is still what human beings need in life.

Of course you should use all the methods available to you; including the old fashioned way of letting fate bring someone into your life *smile.

I met my partner online. My two best buds are originally online contacts. Some of the latest people I've met were online. It's 2012. Everyone is online. Not sure what the fear is... What is your fear? That you'll meet someone awesome and live happily ever after? :-P

I personally feel that when you aren't looking you will find someone special. I can tell you from personal experience meeting someone online is fun, exhilarating, and incredible. I never expected to meet anyone online, especially considering I do not belong to a dating website. This person I met is amazing and I feel so blessed. I was able to spend some time with her the past weekend and it could not have gone any better. You just never know how or when people will come into your life. Be safe and I wish you all the best!
