She needs to keep EVERYTHING. Txt messages, e-mails, letters, paperwork from court, I mean EVERYTHING. If he's calling her home she needs to get a voice recorder and record the messages. Then she needs to take what she has and go to the police, they'll tell her what she can do. they cannot discriminate against her and if they do then she needs to get a lawyer as a proxy and take care of things. But I have a feeling that she'll have no problem with the police. She needs to take all "evidence" she has of his behavior to the police and fill charges for stalking, assault, pretty much any change that will fit. Then she needs to go to court and get either an Order of Protection or a Restraining Order. I stress the having "evidence" of his behavior because the more hard facts she has as to what he's been doing the more likely her case is to hold up and a R.O or O.P being granted. Make sure she records and keeps EVERYTHING, evidence is key in an investigation and in court having as much of the facts possible can guarantee a verdict on her side.
DO NOT do anything irrational! Use the law that's why we're...I they're there. All it takes is one person overacting and the case is gone. Start first with filling a complaint at a local police station that way its on file, save what you can about his behavior, record things, save things. Then take all of the to the police when she's ready to file charges. the police will take that stuff to court and you have a good chance at getting what you need.
If all that fails...SUE IS STUPIDASS! but that's a last resort. lol. :P
Also, make sure she can get what she can to prove to the courts that she's better suited to have custody of the kids not him but do it LEGALLY. I can't stress that enough. I've seen and been through a lot of things in court that fell apart cause the person didn't fallow legal procedure. The police are on your side USE them that's what they're there for.
If you need anymore help let me know. I'm happy to lend advice and help.
