Laurie, Good luck to you on your retrieval this week!
BTW, if you do get a call for a donor before you find out the results of this cycle, won't the donor just wait a week or so til you know.
Also, what do you mean by Betas are tricky? I sooooo hope it's only one but during my prior 3 pgs, none have ever been that high, including the one with twins. And I dont know if it's a coincidence, but my pg which resulted in a m/c had the lowest beta ... 51 on day 1 and 170 on day 3 but as day 3 was Memorial day and all the labs were closed, it was really day 4.
Thanks for the good wishes Yvonne. So wish it was this Tues and not next but I will know soon enough!
Regarding betas, I mean there is such a large range...I've seen women with a high starting beta have singletons and some lower starting points go on to have twins. I know part of it depends on how quickly they implant. What I also read (although this supports you having multiples) is to watch the doubling time as a sign of multiples. Either way, you have a strong pregnancy, which is wonderful.
Random question, do you know what your lining was at time of transfer? I'm nervous mine isn't thick enough....I'm at 8mm today....I'm hoping it will make it to a minimum of 11mm by transfer.
