a few months ago i was dianosed with ibs my husband has been very supportive and helpful however when i am really in a lot of pain or sometimes get sick after i eat he gets scared that something bad could happen to me

least he loved you enough to care....;-) I do not know what ways to teach him things but it is too common for me to poop myself to even ask a woman (I am single) to start doing my laundry...I will do my own and if she wants me to hers too....:-)

perhaps letting your husband speak to your dr so he knows what is going on from a pro

thank you for that advice. i never thought talking to my doctor would actully lower his stress about this. once he calms down i think we will both feel better
