this group will be here for those who can't sleep at night and are up at all hours so they can come in her and have some one to talk to ....who also can't sleep ...to pass the time ...to make it easer ..to get through the night ...

I usually go with the more traditional "no rest for the weary"

that is a long time to be trying to find a med that will work for you ......your doctors ..must be learning a lot from you.lol

I don't know the name of it but it is for depreshion ......he does real good and than all of a suden he just messes everything all up ..it like goes in circles ...he has had that since he was a teanager ..

I've been aptly described as "a difficult case"...sometimes the doctor will just give up, and sometimes I'll lose faith in the doctor...I have a good one now...he's #9

Depression isn't a steady stream of sadness, like tv commercials would have you believe...it comes in waves...some days are really good and the meds are working...some days are really bad, and they make you just want to give up

the youngest one when he started that he went for help right away and was on meds for a year and seeing a phicatrist and learned how to control it with the help of his family ...if they tell him he is going up or dowen he listeners to them and than does what he needes to do to get back on tract ....

you are right about depreshion ..it goes up and dowen ....but when I was at my worst it was just realy bad all the time ....but that is when I had to be put in the hospital for it

That's good for young kids, because they can't view their own reality objectively...my current doctor listens to my suggestions for meds to try...all he really does is tweak the dosages for me so I don't fry my liver, but he trusts me as my own best advocate

Oh, I've been in and out of hospitals for 8 years now... I had to give up my favorite psych ward when I moved down south from Chicagoland...still haven't found one in OK yet, which is a shame because I should be there right now...
