When it’s your friend

So seeing a girl for 4 years.    There was a pull shot text after a year that went to a friend.    And I spiffed it off and kept going.   
this last year I fought her deleting texts and then find out she has been having a friendship with a friend behind my back.   Then they end up together but he figures out after months that she is crazy and not worth it.    
how in the hell do I still have feelings for her.    After all this.    What the hell is my mind doing to me.   I get it that I'm codependant and addicted to her but how do I flip the switch and get her out of my mind.   I can't seem to do it on my own.   HELP.

Have you tried to see a therapist to work on your co-dependencing issues?

You don't have to put up with being treated this way by her. You are better than this. She will keep walking all over you if you don't put your foot down.

I just think you need to work on your self esteem. Believing that you deserve to be treated better. A therapist could help you with this, have you looked for one?

I have. I’m acually going to my first codependency meeting tomorrow. I’m seeing a grief councillor or have been for 3 sections so far. My self esteem is at an all time low. I know that. Talking to people is helping.
