i posted my story on someone elses post but i am trying to figure out why she is doing it when she knows i dont care, my wife had an emotional affair with a guy that lived in another state, she asked for a divorce we seperated, now she has two male friends one is my ex best friend, she keeps dropping his name into things when i pick up the kids, i tell her i dont care but ashe continues to do it, she chose this now we are both moving on, why does she keep name dropping her boyfriend into conversations like i am jealous i have ignored her when she said it, i have said oh well, i have said bring him heer and screw him in front of me i dont care what you do, yet she still does it

While I was in my affair for slightly less psychotic reasons, it turned out my affair partner was classic NPD. I had no idea who I'd been dealing with until it was over and I was seeing it all in retrospect. I was behaving narcissistically during the affair, for sure--we all have those traits to varying degrees. But being with him made it seem like a normal way to operate.

There were times I thought he was playing games with me, trying to make me jealous. Really, he was just securing more supply wherever he could get it.
