Generosity of spirit is hard to come by. Maybe you could focus for a while on what made you fall in love with this woman in the first place, and remind her of that 20 times a minute.

One thing to remember; if both people aren't working on the marriage, you may be fighting for the wrong thing.

I agree with the others that they will never understand, just like we can never understand why they did what they did; we didn't make that journey and, despite them seeing our pain every day, they're not taking our journey.
I've been reading a lot of books to help me but one that helped her to understand is "After the Affair." It reads like a transcript of my life. If you can get her to give it a read with a compassionate heart she may gain a little understanding and, more importantly, realize that your feelings are universal; common to all of us who have been hurt this way. It made my W understand, at least, that it's not just me.
