Hello all,

I just wanted to say that my heart goes out for Sandra. Like her, I too share the pain of betrayal. I wasn't married to this individual but spent 7 years of my life in what I thought was a committed relationship. Loving him, his children and his family.

After enduring several years of his womanizing, I walked away. It's been two years this May and it certainly seems like yesterday. But I have no regrets.

I would just like to say to her that it is tough to forgive and forget. I tried but it takes two to make it work and if that other individual is not willing, than you must do what is right for "you".

Although she's been betrayed and feels like a fool like the rest of us (and she'll be disgusted when she thinks about how she had sex with him while he was with someone else--like the rest of us), I hardly feel sorry for her. She has a career, several houses she can go to to escape, she can afford vacations to anywhere, she doesn't have to worry about how she will make ends meet, and Everyone knows her spouse is a scumbag and a liar. How many of us can say the same about our situation?

Everytime I hear of another situation where someone has cheated, or even just breaking up, such as Susan Surandan and Tim Robbins. I just lose a little more hope that people really can stay together. I want that sometime in my life, but I don't see so much of it anymore. Even in "real" life its just all around me.
I do feel sorry for Sandra because she seems like a really nice person and waited to get married, and look what happened . Its sucks that she has to go through this as we all know its hard.

I'm pretty sure that HE destroyed his entire universe, along with the universe of his wife!! why does the press want us to feel sorry for the cheater???? I just dont get it..

do you really think if you had money, your world wouldn't come crashing down when infidelity enters the picture? Sure, she doesn't have to worry about having a roof over her head- but everything else? Plus she's got to deal with having her ordeal in public. I am poor as a church mouse, and I wouldn't trade places with her right now.

I feel bad for her but again like others said I don't have the camera in my face. Add that to compound the problem, have it plastered on magazines and the tv gossip shows and it makes moving on or healing that much harder. But...yes, she has money, fame, homes, more than what I have now but that is MY cross to bear.

Note to blogger1: Your viewpoint strikes me as needlessly uncharitable.
Yes, having money is better than having to struggle financially (duh!), but when it comes to the PAIN and BROKEN TRUST and BETRAYAL -- I can't imagine that any amount of vacation homes lessens that crippling agony.
