Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. This breach of trust is often traumatizing for the faithful partner as well as the relationship, and support is often needed to heal emotionally and to decide whether or not the relationship should continue after...
The way my girl explained it to me is:
"Pablo. That's awful! What do you think I am, a moron? You don't have feelings for your ex wife? Why did you marry her? Why would you break us up for her if you didn't care about her? There are so many other women you don't care about. Am I going to catch you with them, too? Who are you?"
like, "I love you, but I'm not IN love with you."
or, "I like you as a friend. Can we just be friends?"
It sounds to me that he is trying to make his bad choice sound like it wasn't that bad. It doesn't matter if it was "just sex" or if it was "a relationship with his 'soulmate'", it is infidelity no matter how you slice it. It is a betrayal of wedding vows and of the fundamental trust that supposed to exist between husband and wife. To trivialize it and not own up to the fact that it was a horribly bad choice, is just throwing dust in the air in an attempt to obscure your vision from seeing it for what it truly was ... a selfish act to meet his own needs and a betrayal of your marriage vows.
I am in agreement with what most said, he is a cheater and he risked your health, tossed your marriage and now trys to minimize it!
The one person whose response confuses me is
"ChasingEu", How did it help?
