Husband of 25 years having relationship with woman

I found out that my husband of almost 25 years has been in a relationship with a woman since April.  He is now moving and going to live with the Homewrecker.  Never in a milliion years would I think that he would do that.  We have had a pretty  relationship.  The normal ups and down.  I believe he is going through a mid life crisis because she is 10 years younger then me.  I guess he will see if the grass is greener on the other side.

How do you know he would have not hooked up with someone else? Entitlement does that for people.

Because I just know my husband. She is a snake in the grass that enticed him. I know he is not innocent for falling into her well used bed. But she is a home wrecker and I know that this is not the first time she did something like this.

Frankly, you don't know your husband unless you aren't surprised by his behavior.

You are holding onto this belief that he is a great guy who was just seduced by this treacherous harpy. If only you were able to break this spell she has over him he would transform back into the man you fell in love with.

The truth is that a person's actions reveal who they are beneath the façade. He is a selfish cheater who has a weak character and not morally grounded. Affairs aren't mistakes but a sequence of thousands of decisions that are made with intent, even if they are coated with a layer of self deception to ease the guilt.

If that happens that is my plan. Because him being around that woman has changed his personality. And he is being mean and nasty towards me and even his own mother. Who has been my rock through this whole ordeal. I just wish he would wake up and see the big mistake that he has made.

Sadly the woman didn't change him. He just no longer needs to hide who he really was and is anymore.

Once you see under the mask, the mask no longer has a purpose.
