Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...
When you say 17, you have been with him 17 years? Your profile says you are 32 years old, so you've been with him since age 15?
What do you think you want to do next? Do you want to try marriage counseling, do you want to separate for awhile, do you want to divorce....?
As hard as this is, focus on yourself, take care of you, take care of your two kids. You will get through this, one way or another. You have control over your own life and your own decisions, whatever they may be. You are your own person. Don't think about him, think about what is it that YOU want.
Know that none of this was your fault. Nothing you could have said or done that would have prevented this. He was the one that made the choice to do this. You can not control other people's choices. This had nothing at all to do with you.
We're here for you!
Call a divorce attorney. They give free consultations by phone. Don't wait for your husband to file for divorce, because he won't get around to it. You will make out well financially, so don't worry about money. He has to pay you spousal support and child support. You will probably get the house, or at least half the money if you sell the house. Call that divorce attorney, make sure you get all you are entitled to.
Sorry you have to deal with all of this. You're going to be okay. Better than okay! You're a very young woman, you have your whole life ahead of you. On to better and happier times!
Contact a divorce attorney. Get all you are entitled to. He will have to pay you. A lot. At least you will have money, but I know the emotional scars will be there for awhile. Do you speak to a therapist? They can help with this, too.
This is so not fair. I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. What he is doing is so not right. But, we can't change another person, or change what their choices are. But you can take care of yourself and keep yourself safe and away from this situation, as soon as possible. Don't worry now about her living close, you can move away once you get the divorce money and half the house money.
You're going to get through this. You are strong. You are going to be okay.
let people know specially your friends what trash your spouse has become , and hold your head high while doing it , type your words in a sarcastic way actually it was a counselor told too do it
