yes I have had several, I have a gift that I don't want, it is like 6th sense, I dream things, in vivid color and detail, that happen just as I dreamed....like when my grandma passed away, I was 9 or 10, I told my parents I didn't want to go to school because grandma died and dad would just be coming to get me from school, and within the hour he did come to get me his mother had passed from a heartattack, I also had a dream about my other grandma and I dreamed about a missing person in the area I lived before, I saw where they would find her and I saw who killed her....I sense spirits, I have seen spirits, heard and smelled them....I actually dreamed about my husbands infidelity, it was a nightmare, I told him, he denied the whole thing, but I dreamed their first f*ck exactly, she even matched the woman I saw in my dream

My DH is very sensitive, the kids only slightly less so. We've all had experiences with the other family who 'lives' in our house. DH sees them moving through rooms, past windows, ran into one, the young mother, while she was on her way out of the bathroom one night. I've had the child, a little girl about 4 years old, shaking our bed to wake me up, crawling in between us for a cuddle, just like our young son would back then. It must have looked nice and safe to her :)

If it only happened to one of us, it would be hard to believe. This is harder to explain.away.

There is absolutely no evidence to paranormal activity and other superstitions.

Belief in superstitions, luck, ghosts, conspiracy theories, and bigfoot are linked to lower intelligence (lower IQ's).

When my 1st H died....I sent my kids back to school the following Monday. One was in kindergarten so he went in the afternoon and my 3rd grader went in the AM. so my 3rd grader woke up that morning and told me he had a dream that his dad was in his dream and his dad told him "don't worry.....I'm ok and u and your brother and your mom will be ok. 2 hrs later my son woke up and told me he had the exact same dream with the same words. Talk about getting the chills twice in one day. The only difference in the dream was the location of where they each were when their dad came to them.

I will concede that my IQ of 144 is certainly lower than that of someone with a higher IQ. Regardless of evidence, I know my own experience and that of my family.

I suppose it's conceivable that we are suffering a group delusion due to being as dumb as rocks, but I doubt it.

actually Blindside...many believe in a spiritual world/realm, that there is a heaven after earth, many have very high IQ"s, and demons absolutley exist, scripture in the Bible, which many believe in some version of, speaks of our spiritual world...not only in the fact of spirit but also because we, humans are above animals and minerals, and created in the image of God, so for me I believe that when our bodies die we pass to the next level or placement for our spirit, heaven/hell or another assignment in the spiritual realm, not decided by us or our behavior, but by our faith and our God

Let me clarify before those intelligent yet superstitious folks get the wrong impression.

It is a statistical fact...NOT MY OPINION......, that those that believe in superstitions etc.......are LESS EDUCATED with LOWER INTELLIGENCE. This is simply an average, with exceptions of course.

Are those that believe in Bigfoot more gullible than those that believe in spirits/ghosts? IMO, no.....it's ALL hogwash as it's been scientifically dis-proven for centuries.

I completely agree that there are absolutely brilliant people that believe all sorts of things, I was referring to an average.

Oh, and none of what you said has been proven. The bible is the biggest (and one of the most demented) fairytales of them all...IMO.

Is Blind a little cranky this morning?

We bought our house from a woman whose husband had fairly recently died while out walking his dog in the neighbourhood.

After moving in there were several occasions when there seemed to be a shadow of a person moving around in the upstairs hallway as I walked up the stairs. I got the feeling that it was almost as though the husband was looking for his wife or family - a little lost and confused as to where they were. So I decided to pray about it, and ask God to help him understand that they had moved out of the house and that he need not continue looking for them here. After that I never saw it or got the feeling ever again.

I am not a superstitious person and one who believes in ghosts normally but this seemed very real. I have a very high IQ according to IQ tests, so statistics can say what they like, but I think there can be times when passed family members or friends can reach out to one they love if and when necessary.

I like to think that heaven and hell are states of being that we create for and with each other. Then, if we could all get on the same page in terms of accepting each other, we would have Heaven on Earth.

It's a nice idea, at least.

A girl I previously dated say that if someone dies - once they pass - from that day till 3 days after they die - they may reach out to them.

She told me a story about her father reaching out to her sister and to her - that they too both had the same exact dream with her father telling them they would be ok on the same exact night and they both lived in different states.

I would like heaven on earth - just except there seems to be some crazy evil jackasses pretty much everywhere.
