Infidelity Support Group
Any relationship in which one partner engages willfully in sexual relations with another outside of the partnership is considered to have experienced infidelity. Even if he wouldn't have cheated again, even if I had reason to believe in him- I would have still left him.
Prayers for all!
Of course, it takes two people for that to happen.
I regret being a sucker and believing him. I regret believing his words and not his actions. I regret giving him three kids - the ones he does not make the time for. I regret giving him 20 years of my life. I regret thinking that he would get his head out of his ass eventually - and still hasn't. I regret what I allowed to happen to my life. I regret that I gave him the chance to betray me - twice.
Do I regret not giving him another chance? Not really - that was his second chance.
Have I regretted much since the divorce?
Hell No.
Good question, tho! L~
I think she deserved a second chance for a one-time thing. But what really happened? No. The theft of time and exposure to the disgusting nature of what she did with him, yes I mean "that". Unforgivable.
I deserved the second chance to move on and have a different life than what I experienced.
However, had I not taken her back, I would have missed out on my youngest three daughters. They made it worthwhile.
I should have left her 24 years ago when she cheated the first time.
I didn't.
I should have left her 13 years ago when she cheated the next time.
I didn't.
I should have left her 2.5 years ago when she cheated the third time (that I know about).
I still haven't.....although I have not forgiven or reconciled.
So.......what the fuck is my problem........IDK yet.
