My H and I were in counseling after I found about his cheating (supposedly a one night affair....well...more like a 5 minute blow job in his car...really classy). We went to counseling and after a few months he tells me he's not going anymore bc he's getting picked on. Total lies of course. I didn't know this until last year, but I found out that he stopped counseling because he was starting an affair with a married slut he worked with. That affair lasted over 4 years and only ended because I caught him. We're once again in counseling. It's so horrible. I feel like I'm in a trap that I can't get out of. I feel frozen. I will never trust him again. Who could, really? He's laid off right now, so it would be impossible to divorce him right now while getting almost no child support. If it wasn't for the kids, I would have left a long time ago.
To be honest, if I had to do it all over again I wouldn't have married him. I'd go back to the day where we started chatting and started our relationship and I'd just walk on by. I wonder where I'd be now if I would have chosen a better man. Really...it seems like I couldn't have married much worse.
