Sorry but I am beyond words right now. I had my FET on Monday. Only one of two embryos thawed. Okay...I can live with that. Had the transfer. Everything went smoothly. Get the phonecall in the afternoon about my bloodwork. Told my progesterone level is too low to support a pregnancy. Doesn't make sense...took the meds exactly as directed. Talking to the nurse, it turns out I was instructed INCORRECTLY and told to administer the wrong dose of progesterone. I was taking ONE TENTH of what I needed b/c the nurse instructed me incorrectly. In a nutshell, I cannot support a pregnancy based on my progesterone level which means my last embryo was WASSTED as well as the money we spent. This was my LAST chance to try to conceive and it is RUINED b/c of a nurse giving me incorrect information. And there is NOTHING I can do.

I would definitely call the office. Raise a stink for that matter take them to small claims court. These procedures are too expensive to be given wrong information and directions and then just be out of luck. I am so sorry. What a horrible experience. My heart goes out to you and your family.

I would be so pissed too. i am so sorry. I would kick and scream until they do another cycle for you for free.

I think you should call your RE and demand another cycle for free. After everything you have been through ... that is just unbelievable. I would go in for a face to face meeting and have your spouse come with you so he can also say that he heard what the nurse said too (hopefully he did hear it?) I am so, so sorry you are going through this.

I'm soooo sorry for this unimaginable pain and disappointment.
I would definitely contact the RE and have a serious conversation. You may want to discuss this with a lawyer first. If this does proceed to a legal matter you don't want to make things worse for you and your family.
I do wish you the best in this awful situation.

On a side-note, I did confirm my progesterone dose with my RE today just to make sure.

Thanks for all the support. Unfortunately, the nurse gave me the info over the phone so I have no written proof, just my word, that she gave me the wrong info. This is the second time this office has screwed up (last year when I went for an FET they had not put me on the embryologists's schedule to have my embryos thawed!). This is just one morw sign that I am not meant to be a mother and to stop this whole ttc. We have spent THOUSANDS of dollars and haeve nothing except heartache and frustration. Good luck to everyone else. Hopefully all of your dreams will materialize as mine never will.

Please don't EVER think that !!!!!!! I am sorry you have had disappointment and heartache through these tough years.I will pray extra hard for you that you get a miracle someway somehow.......You made my heart hurt when I read that.
