I know this will probably sound crazy but I'm a little paranoid. I have a bottle of prometrium capsules (yellow with SV2 written on them) from March when my cycle was cancelled. I have another bottle that I just got a couple weeks ago for this cycle. I've been using up the ones from March cuz the bottle says they are good thru March 2011. Today I realized that they are different from the bottle I just got. They are from 2 different pharmacies. So here is my question:
Are the capsules supposed to be soft and squishy or hard? The new ones have no give when you squeeze them. The old ones are noticeably squishy. I'm so worried those soft ones are bad and I messed up my chances for a BFP!!

How strange! If it says they are good thru March of 11, then they should not have gone bad already! I wonder if you got some sort of other generic drug instead? Were the soft ones exposed to extreme heat (like left in a car?).

I have only had the yellow soft/squishy kind.

Yeah mine that have the SV2 on the side were always a little squishy. You should be fine!

Do you keep yours in the fridge? I do. My pharmacist recommended that. So mine are hard but they're cold so I don't know if they'd be squishy if left out of the fridge. Maybe call your pharmacist and ask if it is ok just to be sure.

Thanks ladies! It's good to know others have had soft tablets. I think it does have to do with temperature. I was concerned about that cuz I don't have them in the fridge so I called the pharmacy and they said they were okay up to 86 degrees. I noticed now that I have the new bottle in the bathroom (where it's a little warmer) they are starting to get softer. I'm just so paranoid about all this stuff!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
