Hello Ladies,
I found out yesterday that I had a miscarriage and of course, I am more of an emotional mess than anything. Friday night I was having some very mild cramping and my husband and I went for a walk. The next day I started bleeding like I was on my period and it continued. So we went to the ER on Sunday morning and after ultrasounds and bloodwork, I found out that my HCG went from 160 to 8 - I was devastated!!!! I was also taking progesterone suppositories twice a day per my RE and was doing fine until Saturday and I had been anxiously awaiting my OB ultrasound tomorrow with my RE. We actually got pregnant on our own, before we were about to go through our 2nd cycle of IVF, with this new doc. So, back to square one and as you can guess, we have a lot of questions for our RE tomorrow! But that is one of the things that I was thinking about, since we got pregnant naturally, that maybe it was a bad chromosome?? One thing that I was thinking is that with IVF, she would be testing the chromosomes - even though I know that they can't test for everything??? And of course, we keep wondering what caused it?? Fortunately, my husband has been fantastic and my parents prayed with me on the phone (my dad is a minister), and are always my 'rock', but I still feel like I disappointed them because I soooo want to give them good news this week!!! I also have a couple of close friends and a support group that is wonderful, so I still feel blessed, but it still is very difficult emotionally and I know that you ladies can definitely relate - you have all been AMAZING!!! I would appreciate any and all suggestions and advice. I am still bleeding and the nurse said that it will continue for a few more days, but if it goes longer, go to my doc. By the way, my nurse was sooo compassionate and she told me that she had been through all of this too - she was great!! And I don't know when to expect my period??? So, as you can tell - a lot of questions, some of which we may not find out.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I had a mc 10 weeks ago and am still waiting for my beta to get to zero. Depending on how far along you were it's normsl to bleed for up to two weeks but at that point it should be really light.
My RE explained that it wasn't anything we do. MCs happend because of an embryo defect in one out of every five BFP.
Your period can come as soon as 4 weeks but can, like in my case, come much later. Since your numbers were really low already your cycle shpuld come back soon. Try to see in about two weeks if you have signs you are ovulating.
Hope you feel better soon. It's a good sign you got a BFP on your own. You will get there.
