Today I had lunch plans with a dear friend who has also been dealing with fertility issues. When I reached out to her to confirm details she was waking late after a night out until 2am, something she had not done in years. She closed the bar, drank too much, ate greasy food, and danced her buns off.
Talking to her got me to wondering. When was the last time I just danced? The last time I stopped being so responsible and grown up. When was the last time I threw all the strict dietary rules out the window and gave several toasts with adult libations to the fact I wasnt suppose to be drinking them?
I used to get angry thinking about all those women who got pregnant after drinking too much and being all too ready to be all too uncareful. But today...

You raised a very interesting point. I feel like all I worry about is getting pregnant. We have to be so focused on medications, doctors appointments, timing, ovulation kits, etc. Its exhausting. AND the list goes on and on. Maybe I should let loose for a night :)

I say go for it hoping4baby! Sometimes us girls just need to go out and remember what it was like when we were just being girls, having fun! I know a night out like that is long overdue for me. I leave for a week visiting family in Arizona soon and I plan to make sure I get a night out during that trip!

You're so right! We focus on getting pregnant with the appointments, injections, u/s, blah, blah so much that it is almost like we become uptight. It is funny you mentioned this. Last night I met my cousin and her b/f with my DH for dinner. Now, I hadn't seen my cousin in years and we were very close growing up. We were walking towards the restaurants and her boyfriend saw a sushi sign. He asked me if I could have it and I said. Then I thought to myself I have been following all of these rules for almost 4 years. I have now been on gonal-f injections for 20 days...is sushi really going to hurt? We opted for another restaurant, but had we gone to the sushi place I was surely going to enjoy myself!

Is anyone here allergic to Sulfa that is currently taking Diamox? I have been diagnosed with IH now for almost 2 years. I am allergic to Sulfa drugs meaning that my throat will swell up so my Neurologist put me on Topamax. I was suffering from major loud whoosing noises and the topamax helped that but everyday I still hear those mainly between 6 - 12 pm. I am at my wits end and have not went...

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
