Buena Suerte!
Aboveda, great results. I really can't wait for Monday.
I just did my 2 shot of stims. Much better than yesterday when DH hit a vein and decided to wipe the blood with yes the alcool swab. Still have a bump and huge bruise from that one. Todays went over without a problem. So far I'm good and don't seem to have problems with the meds. I just can't wait for my u/s on Wednesday. I just don't know what to expect.
Hope everyone else is having a good weekend !
Roxy, yay for stims!!! I wipe with the pad too - at this point, it doesn't even bother me.
As for my update here it is:
RO: 15.4, 12.0, 7.0, 7.7, 7.4
LO: 13.4, 14.5, 12.3, 5.7
So we are holding at 4-5 in the running pattern. Lining is doing great at 12.85. They will call me back with bw and whether I go in tomorrow or Wednesday - they won't trigger until they hit 18 so I'm unsure. I think they may ask me to go in tomorrow anyway but don't know for sure.
Keep growing follies!!!
Glad to hear everyone else seems on track!
This is my first post to this board and I am currently in my first ever IVF cycle. I am on day 8 of stims. Currently I have two clusters of follicles and one cluster includes two that are growing faster than the other follicles. I am worried they will recommend canceling this cycle. I'm trying to stay positive but the fear of more loss is causing me great grief. I wish all of us the best of luck this cycle! Any encouragement is welcome!
(Background: I've lost two pregnancies in 2013; the first one was ectopic and my left tube was removed in surgery. The second one was a chemical pregnancy).
Aboveda - Wow, great lining. Are you going back Tuesday or Wednesday?
I'm in the final countdown for my FET....less then 48 hours to go :-)
Aboveda, things are looking good. Let us know when you go back.
Ktk, hope your doing good. Can't wait for your next results.
Lynn, it's so great that your DE cycle is here.
Jesster, I'm so sorry. I know how hard mcs can be. I really hope this IVF cycle brings you a different outcome. I know it's hard to stay positive but I'm with Laurie, there's no reason to think they will cancel yet. Keep us posted. We are here for you.
As for me, day 4 of stims. Felt dizzy today and bloated but that's all I'mfeeling. I was expecting it to be worst. I don't remember my last twocycles being this easy. Can't wait to see how things look on Wednesday. Keep thinking I won't have any follies since i'm not going crazy with the meds ; )
RO: 13.1, 16.4, 11.2, 8.2, 19.7, 10.1
LO: 14.7, 17.2, 14.7
I see three for sure, and keep my hopes up about 4-5 in the running; gotta admit nice growth spurt for some of the smaller ones from yesterday to today. Maybe I will get a nice suprise on ER and have a good number. Excited to be using the HCG shot this time around as it supposedly is better when more follies are present - it seems to pack a bigger maturation punch.
KTK good luck tomorrow!!!
Roxy can't wait to hear how you are doing!!!
Lynn how exciting for you - looking forward to hearing how your donor is doing.
Jess as Roxy said keep us posted we are all here for you.
How exciting for you Laurie that you are almost there! Please let us know how it goes!
Roxy, that is good that the stims are not messing with you too much. They haven't been too bad for me (although I am a little more weepy and bitchy than usual). Lupron was a different story; one night I had a rage fit and 10 minutes later I was laughing. Truly an out of body experience.
I will be sending you all positive energy and vibes!!
Laurie good luck for your transfert ! I will be thinking of you.
Ktk, I think you have your retrival. I hope you get a good number. Fingers crossed for your fert report.
Aboveda, I'll be hoping for at a minimum of 4, grow embries grow.
Jesster, really hope you get good news at your u/s. Keep us posted. I can change so much from one apt to an other.
Thinking of everyone.
Roxy - Thank you for the compliment! I read your journal about the crazy dreams. Try to remember its just that...a dream! Good luck with the bloodwork tomorrow.
Aboveda - Hoping the little guys get a growth spurt and play catch up.
Jester - Estrogen can tell you about how many mature eggs there are. I don't remember exactly what the formula is though. I hope all goes well at your appointment tomorrow. If you have questions, just ask the RE. You're paying them A LOT of money. S/he can take five minutes to answer a question or two :-)
Had my last check before FET this morning. My lining is currently at 11.7mm down from 12.5, but a drop is expected once progesterone starts. My RE said I had a triple stripe before but not now because the lining receeded a bit, but since I just had a hysteroscopy my uterus is fine. Whew! I'm surprised I don't though bc my lining really is pretty thick. Better in fact then my fresh transfer (yay!).
This time tomorrow, I will be PUPO!!!!
RO: 21.1, 18.7, 12, 13.8, 11
LO: 18.9, 15.9, 11, 13.7
So this is where things get weird for me - apparently one disappeared on the right, one shrank on the left and a new one appeared. From this u/s I see 3-4 that can make it to mature status.
I am walking around with a permanent marker circle in my butt so DH knows where to give the HCG shot.
KTK hope all goes well today with the retrieval!
Laurie - relax and enjoy your PUPO (don't know the time of FET)
Roxy, can't wait to hear how many follies you have!!!
Laurie, have you had the transfer yet? How did it go?!
Roxy, how did your u/s go?
Lynn, I am thinking about you and hope that transfer date comes soon!
I just got back from my u/s. The two lead ones are pretty close to maturity, but the good news is that all the other ones have been growing too. They essentially gave us the choice of triggering now for those two and doing IUI or foregoing those two and seeing how the rest develop.
Given we are doing IVF because of tubal issues, the choice was relatively easy and we are going to go for the second cluster. I just now need to get some more stim meds and Ganirelix to suppress ovulation of those leads.
I was happy to learn that the three on my left are getting bigger (each around 11 mm) because that is the side where I apparently have two endometriomas (they cropped up in the last six months). They said that they can also see a way to retrieve those three without having to go through the endometriomas (and Monday they thought it would be an issue).
I also had a total count of 11 which is three more than I thought on Monday. However, we will lose those two and I believe that some are really small.
I think we are doing the right thing. I worry a bit that my body nominated those two for a reason, but just have to trust that the rest of the crew are doing what they should and are just as healthy.
It is so nice to have this group; I've been searching for people in San Francisco going through it and have not found a group! Some friends and family just don't get it!
Deep breath. I am thinking about all of you today.
Laurie, are you PUPO yet???
KTK update when you are back from ER!
Well its official my ER will be on Friday!!! I trigger tonight at 8pm.
