I've heard good things about the clinic but that the owner is very flaky - I get it depends on who you have as an RE. But yes their price is unbeatable - even in Rochester.
Courage - excited to be cycle buddy with you too!
Counting down the BCPs, only 7 more to go!
Leciag - good luck to you!
Nedico I'm so sorry - maybe its for the best?
AFM - looks like AF is arriving early, very excited to get started :-)
Nedico I'm so sorry. I know how hard it is to have to wait linger than you hoped.
KtK I xan't believe how far it is for you. Hope you have good relaxing music for the car.
Laurie, so glad your wait is almost over. I so hope this FET is different... in the result it brings.
So many of us will be cycle buddies. I just can't wait to see my re and nake sure all is good .
Glad to see some of you will be ending BCP soon and hope for the best.
ktk- holy cow- that is a steal of a deal! I'd be stressed about the travel as well but hey- can't beat saving that money! It may be a good thing, though... After retrieval, just laying low without the daily grind? Hope it works out well!!!
Nedico- sorry about the delay in your plans. Months seem like forever and I would also be sad about the circumstances. Hang in there- you're doing what is best for baby... It's the right thing- even though its hard...
aboveda- only a few more bcps! yay!
Laurie- I know someone who could only get pregnant through FETs- has three babies to show for it and never had success with fresh transfer. Heck- the only time it worked with me was a FET, too... Good luck, good luck, good luck!!!
Good luck, leciag!!!
Mock went well the other day- all thyroid labs came back good! Speaking with another doctor in the next few days to go over questions regarding my thyroid and pregnancy. Papers signed to have my embryos thawed- transferring two if both survive the freeze. Looking like end of November for me- praying all goes well for all of us! Have to pick up my PIO and heparin!
Tomorrow is the baseline u/s and AFC so really looking forward to everything looking great!
Lupron on Wednesday - DH has been warned!
i am also wondering why are BCP used with IVF? My huband and i have done everything possible before moving to IVF. we have to switch to another clinic that does IVF and we can't get in until dec 26th! ugh i have so many questions about the process, etc. So i have been filling out all of their information, gathering my information from the other clinic and trying to do research. I have been reading that most people use BCP when doing IVF. just wondering why. I'm sure the RE will explain it to me at our visit but that's not until dec! any information would be helpful. thanks and good luck.
Hoping to hop on to this board and find some cycle buddies! This is our first cycle of IVF after almost 4 years of TCC 2 failed IUI's and an "unexplained infertility" diagnosis. Other than my age 44 DH 38 all other numbers are great even with age factored in.
Have been on BCP since 10/8 and not enjoying it. It's my first time EVER on BCP and I feel like I've had PMS for 2.5 weeks...LOL.
I stop BCP on 10/24 and go in for blood work and an ultra sound on 10/28 hopefully starting injections that night. I will be starting with a micro dose of lupron with other drugs to follow.
Estimated retrieval date around the weekend of 11/9
We are at RMA of New York and I also do weekly acupuncture at The Yin Ova Center...will be starting 2x when I start injections.
Looking forward to checking in and seeing how everyone is doing.
