I dont get a full run down of what she did in there until 6 weeks post surgery which seems a long time, but she did give the nurse the pics which showed clearly that both tubes were clipped!
I should say though that as far as I know I dont have endo, although she was gonna look for signs of that while she was in there, I just have hydrosalpinx in one tube and fimbral occlusion (blocked end) at the other side. Apparently most likely caused by untreated infection at some point causing scar tissue. Since I have Lupus (autoimmune disease) I am prone to inflammation.
2 weeks since my surgery today and I'm fine really, my incision sites are a little sore at times, I pulled my stitches out today because they werent dissoving and everything seemed to be healed.
I havnt really taken it easy either, I was back to work on friday(after a tuesday surgery)
Glad you are both okay
Had a cool thouhgt today. . . . we never have to worry about whether we are making a baby or not when we have sex ever again!!! We can just have sex purely for fun again!!! :-)
PS might be being dumb but what would an Om tattoo refer to???
My scar is a little + sign just above my hair line
Nedico, an om is a yoga symbol which Is used in meditation as a way to relax, and remind ourselves of our existence. :-)
In truth, I am too chicken for a tattoo, giggles.
Btw, soooo glad to hear you don't have endo, yeah!!!!
So I have the week off and am enjoying it. Haven't driven in a car, done chores, or anything strenuous. The only bad thing is I am exhausted at night when my hubby gets home, but wide awake during the day. I even took a Vicodin to see if it could relax me a bit more. No luck.
Bleeding continues. Ur right nedico, I think the goo was dye or something. The bleeding now is normal period stuff. I see the fertility guy tomorrow, yeah! Called the surgeon today to learn more about my cyst pathology - still no news. Baah. How big were they? Were they chocolate cysts? Nothing.
Tgratton, when is your post-op appointment? I see the surgeon next Wednesday or was it Thursday?
Nedico, 6 weeks is a long time, wow. Sorry to hear about your lupus too. Endo is similar in ways to an auto-immune condition, so I can relate...but not completely. Ugh, diseases suck.

It sucks having a period though.....knowing you cant possibly get pregnant, but I know they are a good sign the body is still pumping out the eggs!!!
