Hi iam Carrie an iam 23 married n loving likfe. A yr ago me n hubby started trying to have a baby of our own. Well 9 weeks ago we found out we coudnlt have babies bc of both of us. Well since then 2 of my close girlriends have found out they are pregnant an werent even trying. An worst parti found out on FACEBOOK. I was so heart broken bc i would of loved for them to tell me directly. But whatever! Me n hubby have started adoption process. And its such a long process. Iam so heart broken bc i found out again today another one of my girlfriends is pregnant with her second! I called hubby n sobbed to him. I am so heart broken an scared ill never feel the love of a newborn in my arms an i dont want to miss out on the butterflys in my bellly. But i feel like i guess hopeless.... Iam feel so alone. My siblings each have 2 kids so they dont know what iam going through. I know this is long but i had to rant! Iam stoilling sobbing at my desk now here at work! I feel like i just needed a place to let it all out! thanks for hearing me! an i know bc you all are going through the same thing as me so iam sure yall know how i feel. I ahve tryed all the medications an everything an nothing! iam so discouraged! I just need a hug or a stiff drink!

First of all I'm so sorry, I know the sting of infertility. If you don't mind me asking what was your cause of infertility? Have you tried IUI, IVF? I think adoption can cost just as much as IVF??? I did two IVF cycles, resulting in one miscarriage, and my triplets girls. I hope that things get better for u! Message me anytime you want to chat.

PS. It was almost 8 years before we got our miracle babies.

i have tryed all that n i have diabetes type 2, hypothryodism, an pcos. my husband was hit by a car check the mail when he was 9 an it broke almost everything n sum how that resulted in low sperm. Apparently i dont ovulate either. I have taken clomid, metformin n prometrium.

Can you do donor eeggs? My husband had no sperm count and when they went into his tissue found live sperm. There are options I hope you keep trying, don't give up on a baby!

I havent given up. I havent know abou that ill look into it! I have a friendof mine willing to be a suragent mother for us at no pay. She has two babies of her own. She just likes being pregnan i wonder if that would work with her?

Well if u don't ovulate I don't know if they could get eggs from u. I was thinking along the lines of maybe she can donate an egg or two to you and you could carry the baby. But, if they can get eggs from you then heck yeah if she is willing to do it I would say go for it!!!!

Go see a specialist like an RE who can help u with all this...where do u live?

I live in north carolina. An i drive to winston salem to wake/baptist bc they are the best around an iam thinkg of looking up a specialist at unc

Okay, well if you have any questions I'm here... or if you need to vent. I know its hard I never thought I was gonna be a mommy but I am. After along struggle of course.

OMG... It sounds like you are having an awful day. And we can all relate. I think we have all called our DH in tears at some point. I know I have over and over. It really sucks when everyone around us is having babies all the time. The women in the cubicle across from me at work is 7 months prego right now and I have to come to work everyday day and hear all about how she is feeling and how the baby is kicking and what color her husband is painting the baby's room.
I just hate it and it is so hard. I cry at my desk all the time and blame my red face and swollen eyes on allergies (pathetic... I know). I will send you a hug... and hopefully your hubby will make you a stiff drink when you get home.

Lol trust me my husband has heard me cry one to many times. An i have seen the tears roll from his eyes also. He is a big guy but a little one at heart. Iamw aiting to get off work now i have 30 mins or so n i can go home n cry in my lonesome. An trust me i tell every one my face is red bc of allergies. Your not alone! I told one of my friends nicely i lovedher an iam sry i cant help with the nursery but she understanded. I cant do that right now i would lose it. I found my self in the baby section at walmart looking at stuff for her baby though n i was ok. My husband found me double checked i was ok in that section

I think crying is a good thing. Sometimes it is the only thing that helps, there is is nothing else taht you can do! I saw on FB this morning that another freind just found out that she is having a boy. I totally hate those posts! I get that she is super excited and that it is the biggest thing going on in her life. But those posts are so annoying. Thank god that your day is almost over. Go home and pour a drink and cry. I hope that your allergies (wink... wink) clear up by tomorrow and that you are feeling better in the morning. It might be a good idea to stay of FB for a few days.

I m so sorry for your having such a hard time. But your not alone I cry all time some days Im an emotional reck. It so unfair I know everyone around me gets pregnant at the drop of a hat its so annoying. But hang in there god must have something special in store for all of us. And when we get there it will be worth the wait.

it does stink n hubby took me out to a nice dinner last night, an got me a watermelon margarita. yum... now iam back at work n avoiding facebook at all cost n my friend had the guts to ask if i was ok with her being pregnant i said yes. y wouldnt i be? but on the inside iw anted to screAM hell no it aint fair..... but i guess life goes on!

I feel your pain! It's a horrible, isolating process. Perhaps an RE would be able to assist with options. I tried IVF 5 times with no success. I finally adopted my first son as an infant but then I decided I really wanted to experience pregnancy (those butterflies as you say) so then I did IVF with donor eggs AND donor sperm and my second son is now 2 years old. I just did my 7th IVF, and I just got a BFP with baby #3. It hasn't been easy, and it's cost a small fortune, but it has been worth every bit of the trauma!

Carrie, My husband and I are right there with you. We just found out last week that I don't ovulate like I should and he has zero sperm count. It just doesn't seem fair. We are trying to remember that God has a plan for us and we are trying to trust him. After about 6 months of trying to conceive, I told my husband that I thought there was a problem and that we may never conceive. And after over a year, I am starting to think that my gut feeling was right. My husband is going to a Urologist in a couple weeks and if we don't get any good news there, we are going to persue adoption. I think adoption is a great way to have a baby. We had already discussed it before we got married that it was something that we both always wanted to do. We just weren't sure what age of child we wanted to adopt. Now we know....a newborn. I hope there is hope for us to conceive with IVF or something like it, but I guess we will have to wait and see. Good luck to you.
