I think that is a wonderful idea. I am not quite done with my fertility journey yet, but I have been looking for resources and insight from people before me on how they decided that enough is enough. I feel like I am coming to that crossroad where I need to decide if I can continue on with treatment, and it would really help to know that there are other people out there who have made the decision to move forward, and are doing ok. I don't want fear to keep pulling me back down the IF treatment path because I am too scared to give it up. A group like that could help people work through their feelings to know that they tried, but it just was not meant to be for whatever reason. You are a very brave person for everything that you have been through and I wish you much peace for the decision you are making. :)

YES! PLEASE! I'm looking for people who are in my situation, either in the process of or having already accepted that children will not be part of the equation. I am in that place, and I am still working through accepting it. I am not in the same place as all those who are still trying to conceive in whatever means is right for them. I AM childless not by choice, and would love to have a group that I can relate to.

I think this is a great idea. I am near the end of my journey with fertility treatments. If our last FET scheduled for early May does not work, we will not pursue another cycle. We made the decisions about how far we were willing to go early on in the process, and next up for us to is to pursue adoption, but that can take years. In the interim it would be nice to have a place where there are others that tried and said enough is enough, and moved on and are learning to accept the decision. I think so many of us make the decision to stop treatments because either financially it is no longer possible, or discover genetic reasons they can no longer proceed, and then leave the group. This would give them a place to still go to feel supported.

I am grappling with this decision as well. We have only been on this journey for (2) years but I feel we are at a cross roads and I am really not sure what to do next. A specific support group is a wonderful idea. I also feel like I am childless but not by choice. I don't have anyone in my life who can really relate to what I am going through and the emotions that I am feeling.

Hi, I'm brand new to this journey but i know that i have my limits on how far i'm willing to go and just how much emotional stress i'm willing to put on myself and my marriage. After reading lots of others' experiences on here, I know that I can't do all that others have done. So i too am struggling with how far do i really want to go before enough is enough. I hope to join this group as well because i can most definitely use the support from others....

Thank you for sharing your story, and Im really sorry for all your unsuccessful years. Im 52 and I have 2 adult daughters, they are 24 and 19. But to be honest I dont feel like my motherhood is complete. I really want one more child, I always dreamed about son. My husband is 63 and he shares my feeling about children.
I know nowadays there are a lot of reproductive technologies to conceive a baby even in my age. I understand I need an egg donor and may be a surrogate mother to become mother again but Im more than ready for this. I have a lovely country house and my daughters have a flat in the city. Me and my husband still working and have a good salary.
I was looking for the countries where surrogacy would be fully legal and right now considering Russia or Ukraine. I dont really know the difference, apart from language.
If anyone have information about both countries I will be very thankful! xx

Yes please! After three IVF fails and one miscarriage and finally a hysterectomy, I am out of options. Husband is not for adoption.

So sorry to hear about how long your journey has been and your decision to come to an end. I still have a cycle left that I will be starting soon, but we will not be continuing after this year is up. I would love a group like this as well! Thank you for the idea and for working to get it started.

Sadly I belong in this group after a round of IVF, IUI and many clomid rounds . My eggs are bad I guess and they don't think anything can be done about it. I've been to the point of accepting the fact that I will never have children and have been planning my life around being childless and doing things that don't involve children and having the moto just because I'm a woman doesn't mean I'm not a complete woman because I don't have kids. Having Kids isn't everything and I'm free to do what I want when I want. I've had to look at the positives in order to heal from the heartache. I still have days especially around mothers day where I just want to cry myself to sleep though.it sucks
