If you had $500,000 that had to be spent today, what would you do with it (aside from fertility treatments/adoption)?
I would pay off my school loans, my DH's school loans, my mortgage, my mom's mortgage, finally get the new kitchen I've wanted, buy a new car, plan on extravagant vacation, pay for my Aunt to have an in-home nurse to help recover from her stroke she had a few months ago, invest/save the rest!
April, I love that you would donate to the Scleroderma foundation. I teared up when I read your post because it reminded me of my aunt (she was a twin) that passed almost 10 year ago. She was 40 years old and had scleroderma, diabetic with 10% eye sight, and was on kidney dialysis. She was never able to have a transplant because her healing time due to scleroderma took a long time.

Sorry to hear about your Aunt. At what age did your she get diagnosed? It's a horrible awful disease and I wish there was more awareness about it.
I'm 32 and was diagnosed when I was 21. I had to get approval from my Rhemy and my cardiologist just to even try to conceive.

Go to school full-time, pay off our home, set-up college funds for my BF 3 daughters, donate to St. Jude's and save what is left.
She was diagnosed in her late 20s. She used to come to Florida with my other aunt (her twin) and stay with us in the winter because she felt so much better in warmer climate.
I wish there was more awareness too. I saw a celebrity on television not long ago competing for the Scleroderma foundation. I hope you get your rainbow baby...what an amazing story that will be!!!
