Infertility Support Group
In vitro fertilization is one of the most common and utilized ways of treating conception problems. This support group is dedicated to those beginning their journey with IVF and needing support. Join the community and share your experiences, advice, and story with people going through similar challenges starting a family.
Hello everyone. As many of you know I am one of the veteran IVFers on DS.
I have just started an adoption group, strictly for those considering or pursuing adoption while dealing with infertility. The main adoption group of DS tends to be more for those who have been adopted, rather than those looking to adopt.
You are welcome to join whether continuing infertility treatment or stopping treatment during your adoption journey. It does not matter where you are in the adoption process, from just considering the idea, to taking the first steps, being matched, or finally holding your baby in your arms. The group is an open forum for us to discuss every aspect of adoption, from our hopes, and fears to details of the adoption process.
It is not however a place to discuss infertility treatment unless of course you are cycling during the adoption process.

Is anyone here allergic to Sulfa that is currently taking Diamox? I have been diagnosed with IH now for almost 2 years. I am allergic to Sulfa drugs meaning that my throat will swell up so my Neurologist put me on Topamax. I was suffering from major loud whoosing noises and the topamax helped that but everyday I still hear those mainly between 6 - 12 pm. I am at my wits end and have not went...
