I REALLY appreciate this information. It's so weird seeing this from a males prospective especially the insecurity piece. All this time I sort of felt less than a woman, not being able to provide my husband with a child. My husband is not really a big talker either, but he has always been so supportive. I now understand just how difficult it is for the both of us. After reading this I just want to run in our living area and give him a BIG kiss and tell him, how much I know that his process is hurting him. Our husband do most of the consoling during this whole shebang, it's time we console them!
It's hard for them too and yes, it's important that we love and console them too--easy to forget when we are so focused on all we're going through.

Yes I did! I also forwarded him the link and to my surprise he vocalized how he really felt. He also told me how uncomfortable it was for him to watch a male physician examine me which made him feel powerless.
