you came to the right place I think everyone has been in your shoes at one time or another but don't feel bad for your feelings, we all go through it and more often then family and friends realize

I'm so sorry that this week sucks! It is so hard to see friends deliver babies month after month, while we sit here and suffer. I know what you mean about singling someone out too. I had a miscarriage in 2009, and I have a friend who delivered a baby within a month of when our baby was due. It's nearly three years later, and I still have this lingering bitterness toward her that I don't have toward others. Emotions are so difficult. It's hard to keep the hope alive for YEARS, but we will have our miracles, one way or another. Hugs to you!

Sorry about the jealousy, I so relate, of all the yucky emotions that IF produces jealousy is the one that I can't handle. I know what you mean about singling out certain women, my sister has this one friend who makes me see green every time I see her or hear about her pregnancy. I don't know if it's because she is 3 years older than me or that she smoked cigarettes through the first trimester of her pregnancy or that she always says she is "so overwhelmed" by having this baby - don't know, but she drives me crazy! I saw this women at my Co-Op the other day and I simply said "hey hows it going", and walked on by, you could tell that she was surprised that I didn't gush over her fat belly, can't even fake that one. Ugh - infertility sucks!!!

It does suck!!!! I am not a jelous and mean person by nature! I swear I'm not! I think my biggest issue is that right when we decided that we needed to see a RE specialist they announced that they were prego. Unfortunately they lost the first baby. I really felt awful for her. She took the time to tell everyone how hard it was going to be for them to get pregnant and.........two months later! We lost our one and only in 2007 and it just feels like that was another lifetime. I have offically been a member for less than a day and I already feel better. Thank you thank you thank you :)

Welcome kinkajou! Yeah, jealousy totally sucks and is probably the hardest emotion to deal with in the IF journey. I was just talking to a close friend yesterday about it when she shared with me that she was 8wks pregnant and although I'm so incredibly happy for her I can't stop feeling the thought of 'I wish I was in that place!'. We will all be mommies in some way one day- I'm not worried about that. It's just an incredible test of patience!

Hi Kinkajou, and welcome! Don't feel bad about the negative emotions that creep in. You are human, and they are normal to feel. Especially when you are surrounded by the one thing you want most and can't have. Being surrounded at work is my issue too. Shoot, it's my job. DS has been such a blessing. Hearing everyone's thoughts, and sharing my own on this awful diagnosis has been so helpful. Everyone here gets it, understands that you need to have a outlet, and always has words of encouragement to share. So unleash, my friend, we will listen!

Oh girl, welcome to the club.. Vent away! It's so hard to deal with pregnancy news when we are trying sooo hard. I think it's harder when it's someone you have to see, hear about, and socialize with because it just seems so darn unfair. I've had to deal with this SEVERAL times this past year + and unfortunately have shunned many of the women for the time being. I try not to be blatant about it, but at the same time I feel we are entitled to feeling happy. Unfortunately being surrounded by pregnancy and baby news isn't a happy thing for us right now so we need to do what we need to do to take care of our emotional health. I hope you find the strength to keep the hope alive. Sending love an hugs!!!

I think all women ttc get jealous at least for a second when they hear about a friend, relative, or coworker getting pregnant. I know I do! But I just try to think positive that "if she can get pregnant, so can i" and when I go to my RE and see other women there getting their blood work or ultrasounds done, and they tell me they are pregnant it gives me so much HOPE for my miracle waiting to happen :)
