See if this helps-- just before going into the MRI tube try humming. Just hum the letters "mmm" You might think of it as a mantra as angrymcskitters suggested.

Humming can calm the cells in your body according to Dr. Barrett, author of Secrets of Your Cells: Discovering Your body's Inner Intelligence.

I have been practicing humming all day and in fact, find myself feeling calmer.

This is getting ridiculous. Now I have a urinary infection and my blood count is low so I will need more blood. I will not be out of the hospital this week.

Glass half full, at least you are now getting ALL the help you need and not having to worry about insurance and who and what will be covered. I know it is tough, but try to focus on healing and see this is a gift to recharge.

I'm still in the hospital. Now in ICU because I couldn't breath. This makes 2 weeks today. When I ask the doctors when I will be able to go home they say not soon. I keep getting worse.

Thank you all for your support. I seem to get a new illness every day. I have MRSA again and now have Lupus. I will not be out of the hospital soon and then will have to go to rehab.

I want to thank everyone for their support. If my lab tests turn out OK I will be going home today after almost 4 weeks. I have fallen into depression and hope it will get better once I'm out of here.

I'm glad you made it.

Thank you and all the support that everyone gave me. I now have a number of new conditions to add to my list.

I'm home and feeling good, but I did damage my kidneys more. I doubt I can survive another suicide attempt. I have to work on that with my therapist as the main issue.
