My therapist tells me that sometimes it's necessary and helpful to let someone else take the reigns for a while so that you can surrender and take the time to be where you are. In a safe environment.

Hopefully they're taking good care of you.

Do you have any update on your health? I hope you are ok and that you get what you need!!

The results I have so far are the echo cardiogram didn't show anything real bad, but the kidney test showed that my kidneys have gotten worse to advanced kidney disease. I'm waiting for the results of yesterday's and today's tests and I have more scheduled for tomorrow.

We haven't spoken before but I've followed your story here because other friends of mine on here worried about you and posted about you. I'm relieved to hear you're still with us. I hope you find a good way forward.

We are all thinking of you in hospital and praying for you that very good things manifest in your life and joy comes back to you.

Thank you everyone. I should find out the results of the tests today.

They found that there was no significant damage to my heart, but my kidneys have gotten a lot worse since I've been in the hospital. They plan on keeping me here one more day.

Are you going to get to go to rehab when you leave the hospital?

It doesn't look like I'm getting out of the hospital soon. My kidneys are getting worse every day. My blood pressure is out of control and I may need Gaul bladder surgery. Other than that I'm doing well lol :-) .

Take time to look after your health and have all the exams and treatment necessary to come out stronger.
Days are long in hospital but afterwards, you are going to appreciate beeing back home.A new beginning.

yesterday, i had to go to hospital for a scanner exam,I strated panicking as I don't like that machine in which one goes like in a tunnel and then I thought of you and all the other survivors in hospital and I regained strength.

I don't like the MRI either. I'm going to have a Gaul bladder scan next. I want to go home. I'm having it hard to type with all the tubes and wires.

We're all pulling for you, Lou. I know MRIs suck, I've had a couple and it can be really claustrophobic and uncomfortable, but the technicians are there if it becomes unbearable. Sometimes it helps to have a "mantra" going in that you can repeat to yourself to keep calm and still.
