Oh...and I won't read the book, not watch the movie. Not of George...or Cindy...or Casey...or Mr. Baez...or even the defense. I believe any of those to be an affront to Caylee's life.

I think Jon Benet Ramsey was a victim of a hidden crime too. I know it was publicized because she was such a beautiful child of an affluent family...and, I also know there are thousands of missing and killed children we never hear about. Every year there are "exploited" children who are lost...killed. Their stories are not told, but they are dead just the same. Their families still suffer...or get away with murder. In the end, justice isn't created here on Earth. It is owned by a much Higher Power...but again, that is just my opinion.

Yes, well said Mockingbird. I have become kind of tiresome running around in circles with Journalreader. Your views anger me greatly. I cannot deny that fact. I fully believe everything that everyone here but you has said. Sorry, not trying to bash you here. Just saying. Of course their going for an appeal, like everyone else here has said $$$$$$!!! It's all about money. Jose Baezs' head is so big right now it's probably close to exploding. They don't give a you know what about Caylee, they care about winning their case. OJ Simpson thought he was going to make big bucks releasing a book called,"If I Did It' but he didn't get by with it.
Hopefully Casey won't either but sadly we live in a society where women get by with certain things that men would be much less likely to get by with.In our society women often get by with heinous crimes that men wouldn't because some people have so much to lose if they admit what some women can be capable of.
Some people just believe stereotypes and think that if somebody doesn't look like what they think a violent criminal does in their mind, and if the person doesn't have a criminal history yet, that they couldn't possibly commit the same kind of crimes as the criminals roaming our streets.Again, I don't think that people who won't even consider the idea have the strength to think about how dangerous our society really can be.
If a book by Casey ever went to print I can't imagine anybody reading it since she is a pathological liar.But if a book supposedly written by her ever does make it to print I sincerely hope that there will be organized boycotts of the publisher and any book store that sells it.
Characters like Casey aren't going to quit committing crimes.They don't think laws and society's norms apply to them.Even though people don't know where she is at the moment, let's hope that her situation has outraged enough people that the next time she draws attention to herself by committing a criminal offense, that someone makes sure she gets what she deserves.
Additionally Jose Baez does not appear to be the most upstanding citizen around and does not appear to care about anything except what he can get for himself, out of any situation.Casey is completely under his control at the moment.I wouldn't want to be in her shoes if she ever does anything to seriously displease Mr. Baez, especially if it happens before she has found someone else to support her-but I wouldn't want to be in her situation and be on Baez' bad side even if she has found another sugar daddy.

Here is the thing about abusive people........People on the outside, see them as victims and just cannot believe that someone so nice can be guilty of heinous deeds. My daughter no longer talks to me because in her eyes....... Grandma was a helpless old lady. I sheltered her from grandma and never let her hear the awful things grandma had to say about her such as she was not real family since she did not come from one of her sons. This, I almost regret now. If she knew the Bitch I knew, she would feel differently and the same for her uncle who "mom" used to beat on me. But that is the price I pay and my life is almost over, so I'm ok with that. Abusers are cunning, manipulative, liars and schemers. Caylee knows what happened and one day Casey will have to face her.
