On ET Last night, they mentioned Casey Anthony is planning to make a lot of money off the book she is writing and then the movie that will come afterward. This is getting weirder and weirder by the day. I cannot wait to see what the moral od this story will turn out to be.
If she does and she is innocent and as "saintly" as some think i hope she donates every penny to abused and neglected children.
I also hope the make her pay for all the money and time wasted and that the group from Texas who is suing her wins.
I think Ms. Anthony is too busy fighting for her life right now to make money off a book. She's had six seizures while in jail. She has been declared indigent.
Her mother will make money though. She managed to write a book while sitting in the courtroom. Maybe now her father can pay back his mistress the $4000 he owes her. She never really had that money in the first place. Borrowed it from her sister to lend to him.
If someone tells me to jump off the empire state buildg and i jump...well its noone fault but mine.
Yeah all those shows make money off tragedy.Noone is disputing that.I still think Casey is guilty and should have been charged.
That her family is dysfunctional is probably also true maybe she was abused too by her father or whatever.That doesn't excuse her.
My abuse as a child doesn't grant me the right to be cruel, break the law, act irresponsibly, ect..........Cause if that was the case jails would be empty.A very high % of criminals come from horrible childhoods.................................That is part of the reason why child abuse is so detrimental not only to the individual but to society as a whole.

Language is so confusing these days. I would see it as stealing if I borrowed money and did not return it.
You are not alone in feeling she is guilty. In fact, she has pled guilty to some of the crimes she was charged with so you are correct in believing in her guilt. She has even announced her guilt (to certain crimes) in a court of law.
She is appealing four of her convictions. It's extremely rare to do this so her lawyers sure must believe in her innocence.
She is not appealing the convictions in regards to stealing money. Those ones she pled guilty to and has served time for.
Liers steal, and thief lie.Honest people do not.

Defense lawyers believe in people's innocence? i used to date one he did not but still does his job............and whenever he can he is very deceitful himself, breaks every law in the book and still is a very high profile lawyer making $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for getting even child murderers off.
He steals himself when he can too..
He almost always wins.He's just very good at what he does being a prosecutor first for many years.He became a very good defense lawyer.As long as people guilty as sin can pay his fee, he wins.
This is about their carrer.The opporunity of a life time.
If they can get someone who by all accounts would seem guilty, imagine all the high profile criminals that will hire them.
Defense lawyer can be brilliant in what they do.They do not get caugh up into playing the just thing to do or even judging people.They do not see it as their job.
Their job is to win, no matter what or what's right.
THat is why a lot of them are prosecutors first so they understand how to win once they become defense lawyers.
Just for clarification, are you saying that she shouldn't have had access to lawyers?
The truth doesn't always prevail that is why there are innocent people in jail and guilty people free.Like OJ was and now Casey.
Don't forget Drew Peterson. His name usually comes up as well. He managed to use his old-boys network to stay out of jail for a long time.
OJ and Casey are pretty different scenerios if you look at the evidence or lack of. In the OJ case, the evidence was there. I'd say the prosecutors were way more incompetent than in Casey Anthony's case.
Casey will probably be killed before anyone can put her back in jail. Death threats abound. NOT HERE, of course. Don't want to get misunderstood again. Nobody here is lynching or making death threats.
There are statements made by Casey's believers...the few there seem to be, that are stated as fact. I wonder...if you were not there, how can you be so certain? Oh...I know -- it is YOUR OPINION.
None of what any of us says is actually factual. It is all opinion based on what we saw, heard, read...and came to believe. My opinion bears no more weight in the end, than does anyone elses. That said, I believe she, Casey, is guilty in the death of her child. I believe so because of the evidence I saw for myself...not in the story surrounding the evidence. I do not believe the defense WON the case...I believe the prosecutors failed to win. I do not believe this equates to innocence.
I believe incest had no role in the proceedings...just like OJ being black had no place in his trial. It has zero to do with guilt or innocence..the color of one's skin...the insults to our past...it matters not to guilt or innocence...therefore, has no place being presented to muddy the waters in a trial that wasn't about Casey's past anyway...it was about only the part of her past that included one tiny, defenseless child. Her child was NOT represented in the court case...somehow, she was left by the wayside, and Casey was pushed to centerstage...and it was all a "play", and act, and we were all taken for a hiddeous ride that ended in no justice for the one who was, once again, left alone, without protection.
I am a mother, and a grandmother. I am a professional. I am a survivor. But, I am not likely to cover up the death of even an animal for 31 days. I could not, not in any part of my life...not even the worst post-trauma days of it...never could I have acted out the ways she did if my dear, beautiful child was missing...or dead. The issue of Casey being in "shock"...BS to the inth degree. I am a Nurse...that was NOT the picture of one in shock. I have seen shock. I have lived shock. That was not shock.
As for defense attorneys...I also know many attorneys. The first thing any defense attorney will tell you is..."Your guilt or innocence is NOT my concern. My job is to prove innocence...period". That is how the justice system works. You are afforded an attorney, even if you can't pay for one..and that attorney, and the ones you do pay for...they have only one agenda -- to WIN the case. I don't WIN my paycheck...I earn it. At the end of the day, no one calls my successes "wins" or "losses". Nope...those terms equate more to a game. You make whatever connection you like to that comment...It is just how I see it.
Casey isn't fee from her guilt. She cannot escape the guilt of a crime, if indeed she did commit a crime against Caylee...she is not guiltless, no matter what a "jury of her peers" deems her to be. Guilt is like truth. I have said it here, and it is my own definition of truth...it has no requirement of belief to be exactly as it is...truth. Guilt works much the same way...it matters not, in the long run, if Casey is called "not guilty" by some, "guilty" by others....and, still others have "no opinion" -- bottom line, if she did it...she knows it, and she will never escape her own mind...not ever.
