Impotence & Erectile Dysfunction Support Group
Erectile dysfunction or impotence is a sexual dysfunction characterized by the inability to develop or maintain an erection of the penis for satisfactory sexual intercourse regardless of the capability of ejaculation. There are various underlying causes, such as diabetes, many of which are medically reversible. The causes may be physiological or psychological.

My heart goes out to you and your husband. I was in his situation until my longtime relationship ended last December for porn-related issues. My own increasing ED was likely sped up by my five-year porn obsession. I've since started taking my diabetes, ED and porn watching much more seriously. Please tell your husband that I realize that my ED was causing depression, which led to more ED. It's a vicious cycle that he needs to address—and this is possible. I've investigated ED and know that there are solutions that men like, such as implants and injections. I'd give anything to have my girlfriend back and be working on my ED with her. You sound genuinely concerned so I bet that your husband will be really sorry if he loses you. I hope it works out. Best to both of you!
If he ACTUALLY does have ED (doubtful if he can masturbate to porn), then GET him to perform oral on you instead, DEMAND it of him, and if he says no, which is certain, then tell him you will give him head alternatively, on the proviso that he go down on you afterwards.
Take charge, it's the only chance you have of getting what you DESERVE.
PS: Your husband isn't sick, he is pretending, he is cheating, he is conning you, shame shame shame on him.
I can put it down to two factors, I have lost 30 pounds in the past 12 months, and on a daily basis I eat 1 apple, 1 banana and, 1 orange. I have since learned that apples and oranges ward off ED, without realizing it I have been self-medicating in a healthy way relative to ED.
My heart goes out to you.
Like Pete, I too find it surprising that someone who has ED can masturbate.
Obviously you know best what is most likely to improve your relationship. All I can offer are a few thoughts for you to consider:
What kind of porn does your husband watch? Pretty young women naked? As you get the opportunity, why not remind him that many pornographic photos are re-touched - breasts and nipples enlarged, bums enlarged, body hair added or taken away, penises and scrotums added to women to make believe they are transgender ..... Porn watchers can be made to feel naive and foolish, especially when they can have the real thing.
If he likes watching naked women why not show him one? Why not sleep naked, if you don't already? Go around the house in the nude?
Why not visit a nudist beach with him? These beaches are usually more rule-free than naturist groups. Sex activity, including intercourse, are common. Unlike many naturist groups, there are usually more men than women. Your husband might appreciate how lucky he is as other men look at you.
Since he likes masturbating, why not give him a hand?
I do hope this helps - and good luck!
