Glad that I have found this board and am able to see that many people have problems with ED. My boyfriend has a problem of staying erect until inserted and then not really fully erect. He has been through divorce a job lay off so I am sure that has much to do with this. It is so frustrating for both of us.
Sometimes I think that is is me and I feel bad about myself, he assures me it is not me. He is so very good and wanting to satisfy me and he always does. He is a good kisser and very attentive to my wants and needs. I have never had this happen with my last relationship. This is a whole new world, but we care about each other and am sure we will work this out. Just happy to have a place to go to read about others that struggle too.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Believe me when I tell you this, it is not you. I suffer from the same thing that your boyfriend does and it is not easy to deal with. You feel like you are less than a man because you can't function and after it happens a few times your mind really messes with you. So not only do you have the physical problem going on it then turns into a psychologlical one as well.
My soon-to-be-ex wife never understood nor comprehended the seriousness of my malady which is part of what caused her to cheat (that and she's just a serial cheater). She has a very low self esteem even though she is drop dead gorgeous and she always thought it was about her. It isn't. So don't twaek your bean about it.
If this is a relationship that you want for the long haul be ready for the fact that his ED might never go away or could even get worse. Try to be supportive and understanding. Do some research on the subject. There are other ways of being intimate without having sex. Has he tried pills or injections? Maybe this is something you two could tackle together. Be patient with him though, speaking from experience this is not an easy subject for men to talk about. You don't want to cause him any more anxiety than he is already eXperiencing. Hang in there.

The world must be full of cheaters. My ex and I were married for 18 years and then found out he was a bad boy and that was it. Also, he had a drinking problem. He never had ED, not even from the alcohol. But, who wants to sleep with a wiskey drinking, tobacco chewin' stinky drunk!? Not a turn on for sure. He should have the ED he deserves it not my sweet boyfriend... Life is not fair is it? Thanks again..

Always keep in mind that your partners erectile dysfunction has no bases upon yourself in any way possible, and that sticking together no matter how tough it may feel is worth the relationship you have described. Just wish that I had the strength this time last year. Remain open with each other and wish you both luck with your journey.
Have a wonderful day....and a safe July 4th.

Doctors are hesitant to prescribe testosterone because it is often abused by athletes and is a controlled medication. I did my research and went to my doctor with a mountain of information I downloaded from the internet. and told my doc I wanted to try androgel for 30 days and to make a long story short, problem solved!
ED gone, depression gone, chronic low back pain gone! I feel like I did when I was 18!
Don't let your doc tell you your T levels are normal, be prepared. Doctors dont keep up with the latest info on the subject and what use to be low normal T level is now considered too low!
Good Luck and TC
I've just joined this group and want to ask - have you been to the doctor to check there's nothing else that you need to take care of - a physical issue, for example?
Rarely (but it's worth checking) ED can be a symptom of something else that needs your immediate attention.
Once you've crossed everything else off your list, you can be sure of exactly what it is you're dealing with.
Oh and by the way... ED happens to every man at some point in his life. Doctors are very familiar with people feeling a bit self-conscious and embarrassed, but they won't bat an eyelid - it's so normal. You'll feel so much better when you know for sure.
Don't be afraid to go and get checked.
