A hysterectomy is the surgical removal of the uterus, usually done by a gynecologist. Hysterectomy may be total (removing the body and cervix of the uterus) or partial (also called supra-cervical). Although there are conservative alternatives, hysterectomy is performed for uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, pelvic relaxation, heavy or abnormal menstrual bleeding, and cancer.
Hello...i just had an hestorectomy Oct. 10,2018 but still have my overies. Im experiencing pressure down my lower vagina area is this normal...like now the pressure is coming more often..

Check with your dr. I don't remember having that but I did have an infection which I only knew because I still needed pantiliners a month after. My discharge was pink at times. Not to worry though. All will be well. Just takes time.
