Yes, I do this, I'm too scared to go to the doctors. However, google isn't terribly sensitive..... all symptoms seem to lead to something life-threating, but what they don't say is that these are terribly rare and it's much more likely that a headache or a sore throat, is just a headache or sore throat.

I have the same problem. When I have something physically wrong with me, I look it up on the internet, which amps up my anxiety, which in turn makes my symptoms worse and gives me new ones. The problem with google, and sites like webmd is that they list everything that could ever possible be wrong given the symptoms. Like Fairygirl13 said they don't say wether it is rare or not. Lately I have been nauseous and tired, usually that would send me to Webmd to look up what it could be while I wait to see a doctor on tuesday, but so far I have resisted, and I believe I am calmer for it. Any time I am tempted to look, I remind myself that the last time I did give in, it didn't help it just lead me to a full blown anxiety attack. You are not alone, I am sure alot of us here do the same thing.
