I started a diuretic on 6/21 for blood pressure. I have hyperthyroidism being treated with Methimazole. Was also taking beta blocker for only 3 weeks. When I went to my family doctor she put me on the diuretic. She told me to stay on beta blocker but my pulse was down around 55 and decided to slowly take me back off of it (was off for over a year and only took them 3 weeks since family doctor appointment).
I was bending over drying my hair Sunday and heard something 'click' - I thought it was in my brain. Got dizzy for a few seconds, Brains don't click so I thought inner ear. Then thought low blood pressure or dehydration?
Anyway - Sunday night I layed back to sleep and when I turned on my side I thought I'd have to grab the bed to keep me from spinning. It's like when you turn in circles for a long time and then stop. Your head still spins. That scared the bejabbers out of me. So now if I turn my head suddenly I can feel dizziness. Monday night I layed down and turned my head and was dizzy. Then I turned SLOWLY and the dizziness was there but not bad at all. Today if I turn suddenly standing up, I feel the dizzies coming around. ONly for a second or so.
I have a call in to my doctor. I've had dizzy stuff with the thyroid but never lasted over a few hours.

I got off the betablocker myself because I knew the heart rate was too slow at 55.
I'm actually feeling not dizzy.
I keep thinking it's inner ear somehow. I've invented all kinds of scenarios. Used my sister's hair dryer and clicked the brush with the dryer.... I won't dwell on it.
I was VERY scared at the intensity Monday night. Yesterday it was when I turned my head. Doesn't happen sitting up from bed or desk. Last night I layed down and slowly turned my head and felt a little dizziness.
Looks like it came and went.
I'll be going to family doctor next week for MORE blood work (kidney function test) and I'll just go see her.
Now the back of my neck hurts from trying to hold my head still.
I swear if I have to take even MORE pills, I'll lose it!
