Hyperhidrosis Support Group
Primary hyperhidrosis is the condition characterized by abnormally increased perspiration, in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature. Some patients afflicted with the condition experience a distinct reduction in the quality of life. Sufferers feel at a loss of control because perspiration takes place independent of temperature and emotional state.
I have been working with different doctors for years and it seems like each time I try to get a solution for this damn curse, it ends up not being one.
@ girlyyyy,
Hi, nice to talk to you. Well...the Potassium tablets were helping for the first month, but now it's back to sweating again. I thought I had a solution...:(
I have HH of the hands and feet. My hands are the primary problem. I want to become a nurse and I need my hands to be "sweat-free." HELP!
I noticed Silentpro's post about the Potassium tablets. I think this might be the right track. Well, I'm going to try it anyway. I was taking one 595 mg of Potassium Gluconate daily. But now I'm going to try Potassium Chloride tablets if I can find them. Silentpro is a chemist and says according to the FDA that a person should have 3000 mg of potassium daily. I'm going to try this route first. I'll let u guys know how it goes.
Wish me luck!
