Hello Everyone!
I had noticed through many many discussion reponses that alot of members have been told by their doctors that HPV is forever. It is important to realize that HPV is a virus that can be fought off. It is extremely common and that each person's situation is different. It all depends on HOW YOU TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. Please read the following link. It answers the your questions in particular if HPV is forever...about not smoking...keeping up with PAPs. Eventually you do rid the virus if you do not have other complicated medical conditions that supress your immune system. Also, it mentions for the women to take beta carotene and folic acid if treatment of the dysplasia form of HPV. Let me tell you...I have been taking both vitamins among others and my dysplasia is nearly gone in less than a yr.
I wish everyone best of health ! missy
