I had an abnormal pap back in 2002.. Severe dysplasia and cin 3 (grade 3 lesions)... have them removed via LEEP/LOOP procedure. Well, my last pap about two months ago came back fine, and the DR said I tested negative for HPV... she said it was probly all removed by the LEEP/LOOP. Does anyone know : How is this posible ? I thought that HPV is a virus and lives in the blood / body and never really just goes away.
