Highly Sensitive People HSP Community Group
The highly sensitive person (or HSP) is someone who cares deeply about everything ... feels emotions with great intensity ... is highly conscientious ... has a rich and complex inner life ... is very intuitive ... is often creative in a variety of ways... is easily overwhelmed and/or overstimulated. A HSP needs lots of quiet time, space, and freedom. If this sounds...
I remember that just about anything could cause me to have one - what I ate/didn't eat; smells, lights, emotional state/crying; time of month, etc.
I had what is called a 'gastric aura' prior to the full-fledged migraine attack which meant I would feel sick and queasy prior to the headache starting, then the headache in addition to vomiting (which made it worse); and then the recovery period which was usually the next day plus - so an attack would be approximately 3 days both coming and going. Then it would take me up to a week to get back to feeling 'normal' again. I absolutely hated having these and I don't miss them now. Some people have 'visual auras' where they see things/lights, etc. I did not. I did become sensitive to sound and light during an attack but never before.
I just recently read that a closed crown chakra can also contribute to having migraines. I have to investigate this more.
I don't have to take the prescribe meds now and Excedrin Migraine is good enough now to take as soon as I suspect one is coming on. I don't get them as severe or as frequent anymore for which I am very thankful for. I am also a big fan of feverfew, a natural herb which I believe may have helped to keep the migraines at bay.
I do not envy anyone who suffers with migraine. They are wicked and you have my fullest sympathy if you are a sufferer of them like Cryingbehind and myself.
As a young child, I would not have been able to understand how to handle strange/strong emotions from people, places and things around me. I knew that I was different but did not know how or why.

I investigated the link between a closed crown chakra and migraines and I found information online. Here is the link -
