Hey everyone, just wanted to update you guys on what's going with me. Well I went to my appointment with the plastic surgeon yesterday & it was kind of disappointing. The doctor was actually very helpful & had a significant amount of knowledge about the condition, but he basically told me that surgery for me was out of the question. This being that my case is so severe & that it would be too much of a risk for me to take to have surgery on any of my sores. All I could do once he told me that was cry. It's not like I really wanted any surgeries, but I was hoping that I could finally find some relief.
I am pretty much suffering from this horrific disease in damn near every area they say u can get it from the armpits down. So therefore, my only options now are to try the natural remedies out there that everyone has been trying & to also change my diet. I'm trying my best to keep my head up & not be discouraged about all of this. It can be kind of hard, but I know that I have no other choice but to do it. I know that I do not want to take any risk that could harm me in the future & make my life worse off than what it already is. The surgeon told me that because all of the sores are covering such a wide area of my skin in the most traumatic spots that it would be too difficult to fix the skin back in those areas & that my recovery could be long term & whose to say that it would not flare back up once they perform the surgery.
Well once he told me all of that I pretty much ruled out going through with the procedure. I feel that having my life is more important that going through something that would probably not even help me in the long run. Like I said before it was kind of disappointing to hear the news at first, but I just figured I must do what I should have been trying anyways. At least doing something natural can't really hurt me, it can only make things better if anything. So therefore, I'm just going to keep my head up & stay strong, even though it is hard as hell I know I have no choice. It just sucks to feel that you have to keep going through all the pain, popping pain pills & just suck it up for the rest of my life, but if that's what I got to do to stay alive, I sure in the hell will do it. I'd rather be alive & living with some discomfort here & there than dead & gone.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
