HS on your bladder?

Has anyone experienced or ever hear of HS going on your organs?

Have an apt with a urology doctor to scope my bladder on Monday and I'm not feeling real good about it. He didn't even know what HS is but my GP does and he referred me cause he thinks my UTI feelings are the HS.

Really??? I sure hope not. How would you help that?

I have never heard or read of HS being internal like that. are they sure it is not a cysts or crohns??? Well any way, good luck with the doctors appointment. Be sure to ask questions if you are not sure.

HS is classified as a chronic skin disease. Your GP needs to study up before he starts dishing out opinions since he didn't even know what it was. HOWEVER, there have been cases of "fistulous involvement of internal organs, including urethral fistula." Whether HS was the cause of the fistual or not is clear. Anal, rectal, or urethral fistulas in anogenital hidradenitis suppurativa are "complications". I've also read the tunneling can become internal. Be your own advocate. I have had hidradenitis show up right outside my vagina, but it hasn't ENTERED any place that I'm aware of.
