Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
"Well, now you know what you're going to die from!"
She was smiling! I was blown away. Didn't even comment. And I comment!
What a skank.
Saddest comment- from my son, my only child-
"Do I have it too?"
Talk about shame. I felt my heart break in two.
Best gesture of goodwill-
from a friend-
"How'd you get it?"
while standing in front of her door, which she did not open and invite me in.
What a skanky gesture.
Funniest comment-
This one goes to my husband-
"I'm the drinker of the family and you're the one with hepatitis!"
We laughed our a$$es off!
I had the skankea for a couple weeks in the beginning. then it was gone and I could eat my fat like the little pig/bear I am.
Ask about the sore/pimples/lesions when you're at the dr. I have one on my arm, and a new one brewing in the corner of my eye....in case my name should come up.
If you eat something that I cooked you are more likely to catch a hair in your mouth than HCV. In fact, I am pretty sure you will get a hair in your mouth.
Bloody.
Old pirate saying-
Walk the Skank!
Not quite a skank?
Skank Nugget.
Skank Sauce!
Makes your skank tasty!
Excuse me, my skankiness was showing. ;) Back to worse comments!
An afterhours doctor wanted to know if I was a prostitute after asking me how I got my hepatits C BUT I was in there for an inner ear imbalance ???? bizzare
The ones that say things can be shocking but I feel worse about the ones that hide their fear become awkward and just pull away. I have never actually heard any direct family member say the word 'hepatitis C" to me.
But now, looking back, when I had one of my sons (a normal birth), my husband had to catch the babyor he would have hit the floor. Because when I pushed him out, a gush of blood came with...and the nurses went running for cover~
I also get bothered, when I mention going thru Tx, the only question they ask, is, 'is it contagious?"
Well, lets see...I've been smoking on the same joint as you, for the last 15 yrs, so...yeah, it's totally contagious, and you have it now also..nawt.
Why dont they just google if Hep C is contagious?
